updated from mercyhurst. couple notes:
-added the punt return yards in a season list, which Taco is approaching.
-Brody Grebe career sacks: I have Grebe at 3 sacks this season........ the msu website says 4, which I'm pretty sure is not correct? Can someone confirm his season total and career total?
Excited for Big Sky play! Go Cats!

I know it’s early but one thing to keep an eye may be all purpose yards in a season for Adam Jones.
Thanks again for doing this, I wait all Sunday to see this thread updated.

Yep, he's got excellent hands out of the backfield. Can you say "Wheel Route"?

I don't have any insider knowledge but just a couple ideas. Late in the 1st half, Brody literally threw his guy into the QB that forced a fumble. Was that actually a sack?
Or, even later in the 1st half, Brody was sacking the QB when an intentional grounding was called. Does that count as a sack?

Circling back on the above notes…. The msu football website says Brody Grebe had 3 sacks against mercyhurst?…. I watched the game pretty closely and I remember 1 for sure, another that I guess could be a sack…. Definitely don’t remember 3 sacks though by Brody grebe….
What am I missing here? @tomcat88 any help on this one?

1 clear sack and I think twice he shoved his blocker into the qb and either caused a fumble or knocked him down. Otherwise, no idea.

It's crazy that we had two players in 89-92 that are on the list for return yards. At first I was like how were we not great those years with two guys with a bunch of yards, then I realized we probably gave up alot of points and they both just had ample opportunity...

Can you make a footnote on Taco's punt return yards and blame the defense for the soooo many 3 and outs!

I too lazy to look, but I don't think there's a category for passing efficiency. Mellott currently has a 182.2 passer efficiency rating. This is due in large part to his 12 TD passes and 0 interceptions.

12 TD’s through 6 games is really good by any measure, but especially considering he has sat out the 4th quarter of at least 3 games and the 3rd and 4th quarter of at least one game. So he’s sat out over one full game up to this point.

Not that I know of (don’t see it on the bobcat website anyway)….
Another one I wish they kept a top 10 list is total TD’s scored (passing, rushing, receiving, returns)…. Tommy now has 69 touchdowns rushing/passing, probably a receiving TD or 2 in there as well. He would have to be near the top of that list with others like McGhee, prukop, Lulay, etc.
