I think it’s pretty realistic that Adam Jones leaves Montana State as the all time leading rusher.

The only reason I would debate this is that there is sooo much talent at RB that the workload will be shared, keeping total yardage down. But I agree that he is that good.

What we watched Saturday was something special. The play by Adam Jones starting right in front of the bobcat section made it even more epic.

To see it go down at the 2nd longest rush from scrimmage in program history. It's a play I don't think any of us will ever forget. Knowing the timing in the game and the impact it made, is even more unbelievable and epic. So Excited to watch this kid develop.

The last couple years haven’t exactly been the air raid offense…. Hahahaha

I list out any records that are in play- season, games, career for individual and team records. There are not any active receivers/stats that are close to any top 10 lists. Lance mccutcheon and kassis were about the last receivers to hit any top 10 lists.

Maybe we will see someone like McCullough hit the top ten TD’s in a season list this year?…. But I dont post any top 10 lists until a player is getting close.

updated from Utah Tech.

Need some help though confirming something- Looking over the stats from the game it says that Taco had 54 total punt return yards, with a long of 53...... I feel like this is not accurate. Didn't he have TWO big returns??? If just the one went for 53, I feel like the other one was at least 30 or 40... I thought his total would be closer to 100... or was the other long return called back from a penalty or something?

can someone look into this? (Waiting to confirm before I update that specific list)

At 11:37 in the 3rd quarter the ESPN play-by-play has UTU with a 6-yard punt from its own 24 yard line, returned for 0 yards to the UTU 30. I went back to the replay and it's actually a 52-yard punt, fielded by Taco at the MSU 24 and returned to the UTU 30. So I believe that's 46 additional yards and the true total was 100 if the others are accurate.

updated from Utah Tech.

So I believe that's 46 additional yards and the true total was 100 if the others are accurate.

thanks. I thought something was off...

@TomCat88... Do you know how this works? will the schools go back and look over these types of stats for corrections?

They updated the MSU website. 116 punt return yards for Taco against Utah Tech. Boom!

At this rate he will be #1 on the career list by end of the season!

updated from Maine. Cats absolutely dominated! This rushing attack is just stupid good.

Added: punt return for TD's, career. (with Taco having 2 his first year of action, he is already on this list. MSU website needs to update this sh*t).

Go Cats!

Sorry I didn’t see your question. Yes, they do that and expect to see Mellott changed from 12-15-0, 144, 1 TD to 11-14-0, 140, 1 TD. They gave him Reed’s first completion of the second half.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).
