It will be fun to follow Kellen as he makes the transfer to Maine. The Black Bears are getting a great on ball defender, something that every program needs in their arsenal.

Seriously, good luck Kellen. Nice that you’ll be playing much closer to your family — I’m sure that they’ll be pleased. Now, just remember everything you learned from Coach Sprinkle — the rent is due!

Great story and this to me shows why the Transfer Portal, despite its frustrations for us as fans at times, is a good thing. Kellen, through no fault of his own, was buried on the depth chart at MSU and was able to find a new situation that allowed him to excel. Here's hoping he has an even better senior year!

I think he would have been back up if he stayed, so good defensively. But once he left we signed two transfers. One may have been prior to him leaving
