Bay Area Cat: Let's see, what tone should I take now? (throws dart) Alright, sarcastic condescension and sanctimony!
BAC's Brain: Hey, man, as a board moderator you decided to have an edit that would automatically, and in some cases against the poster's will, change posts so they would call someone juvenile names. After having committed to the BBS equivalent of sitting on a small child's chest and slapping them with their own hand while saying "Stop hitting yourself!", doesn't it seem facile to make a dive for the "I'm much more enlightened and mature" high ground? Won't that damage your credibility further?
BAC: Cred-i-bil-idy? Wha....? (gets miffed) Shut up, brain, or I'll stab you with a Sharpie again! I'm goin with sarcasm and high ground!
Somebody needs to translate this mess for me.
Is this Friz poster saying that being called a friz is really worth this, um, imaginative response? Or is this a case of protesting too much.
If it's the former, I guess these Friz fans are incredibly duplicitous. God forbid you make a joke on them, yet it's open season for them on you.
If it is the latter, please don't change the FRIZ autopost, because if we start talking about reality, such as whooping their tails two on the field two years running, things could get real ugly in here.
Memo to Friz fans - whining about such a petty thing only shows how arrogant you guys are. Try not to take yourselves so seriously.
Oh, and if you guys really want to start some smack talk, let me know, because I've got plenty of ammo saved up for ya'll.
