TEAM ARE YOU READY!

Post by CARDIAC_CATS » Thu Oct 19, 2006 2:16 pm

Heading down to ISU is not going to be a cupcake at all. Every game is always close in there and we need to get on them early! We need to come out and be PHYSICAL AGAIN EVERY PLAY. I love the job the D has been doing as far as being more physical. ISU is a finese type passing team so we need to HAMMER every WR that catches a pass or attempts to catch a pass. And we need to do it EARLY in this game. Send the point across that their routes are not going to be cupcakes down the field. They will get smacked each and every time.

I can't emphasize this enough. If we start PHYSICAL on D like we have been it seems to pump up our offense as well. Also, the OL has been doing a great job too the last 3 weeks knocking other guys off the ball. Those Safeties/LB's come up SMACK THEM OL. The CATS seem to excell when we DICTATE to the other team and not the other way around.

So in closing our hope our D and OL DICTATE some PAIN this weekend ..... and DICTATE it EARLY on! That always seems to make a team take a step back and go WHOOOOAAA, this isn't going to be easy.

YEs indeed this will be a game! You guys are on a uphill and we are going to put on a show at home. (We need it) Our Offense against your D and your O against our D. Should be a good one. The point spread for our past games are not that far. Believe it or not I havae a bit of respect for you guys and know what you r program can do. We are trying to get out of our slump and we have been waiting for some time. We have a lot to prove this Saturday at home. You guys wear your seatbelts and drive safe to and fro. Heres to a great game and no major injuries!

This game scares the crap out of me. I think Holt Arena is usually harder to win at than even PGE Park. ISU has so much potential and I hope they don't have their break out game against the cats.

Yep, if we don't come to play at opening Kickoff ISU's offense has the ability to jump on us right away and never look back! We need to fast strike score on them and POUND them with our D right away in this game.

In reading the ISU board, the common thread is their fans think they need a fast start to win. They feel, as do I, if they can put some quick points on the board the can roll us. As long as we keep away from the punt we should be fine.
