I forgot "Stricken" by Disturbed.

If that song doesn't get you going, check your pulse.

What's the difference between you and a mallard with a cold? One's a sick duck. I can't remember how it ends but your mother's a whore.

I've been waiting for years to hear this guitar riff at any game.

The lyrics don't fit after this intro, but the guitar is classic workout/sporting music and still fits the classic rock/metal theme. Plus the first lyrics would get any football player pumped up.

You take a mortal man,
And put him in control
Watch him become a god,
Watch peoples heads aroll

I was listening to the Portland State game on the radio and the announcers made a comment about the music and at that very moment they said that the student section had gone completely quiet for the first time in the game due to some "oldie" being played in the stadium and the kids were all reminiscing about their parents listening to it a LONG time ago...it was pretty funny!

My picks:

Iron Man by Black Sabbath, when the defense takes the field
Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix when one of defenders lays hit on someone
Higher by Creed when we get a 1st down
Dead & Bloated by Stone Temple Pilots when we sack the opposing QB
Tube Snake Boogie by ZZ Top when Rolo completes a long one 8)
Where The River Flows by Collective Soul when the offense has the ball rolling
Give It Away by the Red Hot Chili Peppers when we recover a fumble or pick-off a pass

And then just some classics like The Cradle will Rock/Van Halen, Dude Looks Like A Lady/Aerosmith, Walk This Way/Aerosmith, Fly Away/Lenny Kravitz, Given' The Dog A Bone/AC/DC, No More Mr. Nice Guy/Alice Cooper

You sick b@stard. And my posts are the ones that always get taken down.

But two sexual innuendos in one line? Well played sir.

Stick 'em Up - Quarashi

Du Hast - Rammstein

Dragula - Rob Zombie

Bombshell - Powerman 5000

Hit That - The Offspring

Ride - The Vines

Biggest & The Best - Clawfinger (Chorus)

What's wrong with being self possessed?
Nobody's satisfied with being second best
I've got the gift and I know that I'm blessed
and I've got to get it off my chest
I'm the biggest, the best, better than the rest, better than the rest

This song was actually used for an ESPN "Ultimate Highlight" clip a few years back... it was sweet!

And of course:

I Wanna Rock - Twisted Sister

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

I think "Voodoo" by Godsmack would make a cool intro.

I'm with PapaG on the Megadeth riff. Classic.

Also:

10,000 Fists by Disturbed

pretty much anything from Faith No More's "The Real Thing" album (although it's a little dated)

Almost any intro from Metallica's "And Justice For All"

I'd also get a kick out of them playing Dre & Tupac's "California Love" whenever any of our Cali players made a great play. Just a tongue in cheek way to get back at all the haters who call it Bozangeles and Cal State - Bozeman.

Here is the link to Absurd by Fluke check it out.

Played at high volume with strong bass... sweet.

When Force or Daly as listed above levels ANYONE play this

This must be played when Mason or Groves runs past everyone for a TD.

When Austin, Fuller and gang Intercept or play cover d

Kramers waltz after a win!

Sorry for being redundant but someone up above turned me on to this. :)

I think we need to forward this link to our music person at the stadium. Give them the entire thread and let them do some homework for the game.

Nice choices Cats. At first I thought the whole Justin T song was silly. After your discription and listening to the song, yea! It got game. I thought you were busy on the move to Hungary? Good to see you still have time to hang out here.

Some classic NFL Films music that would sound good:

"Rainbows to the Endzone" and "The Linemen" are great songs for those long T.V. timeouts. Plus they give a break from all the deathmetal you guys are throwing out.

"Hooker with a Pen*s" by Tool would be a good one.

"Shake Your Blood" by Probot is also good.

Yeah- still going, but, the wheels of beaureacracy rolls slowly. Visas, etc. take a few months, till then I am wasting time on Bobcat football and getting all I can while I can.

Nice - can't believe I forgot about that one. That would probably be my # 1 choice... sweet. :D

I totally agree....that album is the absolute best to get you UP. I used to play it while vacuuming my house because I HATE TO VACUUM. Good thing I got married!
