I guess my pregame starts about 4PM on Sunday with watching the previous days game that I taped. This ritual will be repeated every morning during the week. Of course there are the phone calls to fellow Cats, and depending on how the weekend works out a few select griz as well. Of course as I previosly stated I like to keep my vocal cords in good shape so when I am driving I like to turn up the radio or CD and sing at the top of lungs, (with my warped sense of humor I have come to get a fairly large kick out the expressions I get from other motorists while doing this).

Depending on if there is a home game or away game that week I wil have to restock any perishables in the tailegator, check weather for clothing recomendations (who am I kidding I always bring everything from the shorts to the parka, it is Bozeman). Get the propane bottle topped off, get the food lined up for the tailgate, make sure the beer in fresh supply etc.

On Friday I always go to lunch with a good friend and fellow Bobcat, by the time we are done I am wound so tight I might as well right off the rest of the day but I always seem to get back to the office and actually get a few things done.

Then depending on the plan but if I get my way we are headed to Bozeman at 5:01 on Friday. Ussually stop in Harlowtown and grab a bite. Get to Bozo and check in at the Grand tree and head over to some friends house for a few Livations and good (BOBCAT) conversation.

Here is where things get technical, have to be in bed by 11:00, wearing my bobcat boxers and yellow cats t-shirt. Up at six a little walk to the lobby grab a paper and some coffee. Jump in the shower at 7 out the door at 8am. Head to the tailgate. Set up by 9. Put on Blue Bobcat hat and crack open a beer. Friends and nieghboring tailgaters start milling around, good time is had by all. Light grill at 10:30 start cooking at 11:00, put on my bobcat chef hat even though I am generally not the cook. 12 noon me and 2 friends light our cerimonial cigars and do a couple of songs\chants from our younger year. After the playing of the natinal anthem I put on my white cats hat and head into the game (this hat thing is unfortunatley the reason for our 3 game skid) and up to the stadium club. Ever since the Cat/friz game 3 years ago I try to stand the same exact place I was when we ran the opening kick back, this little piece of superstitin has not been perfected, by I know in my heart when I find the correct spot we will run another opening kick off back!!! Then it is down to our seats for the first half, upon getting to out seats I always proclaim to our friends and nieghbors "Its alright the cavalary is here" this goes back almost 20 years in tradition, but again the non-season ticket holders give me 1 of 2 looks, first option is the "how drunk is this guy look" but sometimes and this is ussually the female side of a couple will give her husband the "why did you get tickets next to him look". I will scream my head off, generally all positive, the whole half. Generally have to explain every week why I have to stand up all game to the people behind me, explanatin ussually goes something like this, the seats are only for extended time outs, halftime if you are scared to come out to our tailgate, and in between quarters, followed by, didn't you read the disclaimer that came with your tickets, I recieve the blank stare or roll of the eyes and continue, that disclaimer explained to them how lucky they were to get tickets right behind one of the greatest Bobcat fans that has ever lived, that they understand me standing might cause an inconvienece that would by remedied only by you standing, which will cause the people behind youto have to stand etc. etc., and pretty soon we have a whole stadium full of fans as good as I am. At halftime we file out like sheep to the tailgate, on those weeks when I have been really extra good will get a griz score with them losing have a few toddy's then back to the game. Second half tradition has not been developed yet but we will get that done. One tradition that is in the second half is that we do not leave the game until it is over!!!!! Explained this way they sell beer in Montana 24/7/365 there is only 6 days with Bobcat home football games so there for enjoy your time in the stadium.

After the game we set around an ddrink a few beers and watch the students perform for us, it is quite entertaining, I am glad that I never acted like that in college LOL. Then out to dinner and back to the hotel. The next morning is the part my wife dispises because no matter if we win or lose I have to hash over and rehash every play of the game. To this day she can not figure out how I can remember every play of the game (at least it seem slike it in her mind) but can't remember to pick up milk on my way home from work. I will ramble on about the game the whole way home. When we get home I unpack the truck and then plop done on the lazy boy and turn on some NFL. Will ussually fall asleep for an hour or so and when I wake up it is about 4PM and I remember I taped the game so off we go AGAIN..........

Live life to the fullest, unless you are a griz, then don't live at all.

As for myself, I would have probably ordered pizza from Eugene's instead of eating at the Cottonwood.
No beer at Eugenes. What kind of Game Day experience would that be? As for #9, if everyone would learn to play it like a par 5...

Instead of going for the green in 2, the scores would be alot better. (I speak it but can't do it usually)

I remember hitting a beautiful tee shot, then a nice 7 iron, and a perfect chip for my eagle there. The following nine I took an 11.

I knocked in a 7 iron for a deuce last fall, but that seems like years ago after SO MANY 7's and 8's this summer.
