CAT GAME TAPE DELAYED - (BILLINGS - KULR8)

I just learned that the Cat game is going to be taped delayed and shown at midnight. So I guess probably won't be watching it on Saturday night (or I may be still out that late

). So sorry for invite as doesn't look like it will be live at 7:00

Not sure if it is like that in every city, but in Billings it is going to be taped delayed sounds like. @#$^%$#%@@%. I would call your local stations to make sure before you plan anything. I know someone that just called KULR 8 here and they said it was showing at 12 that night on tape delay.

I just called KHBB here in Helena. It is on at 7PM. I then specifically asked if it was going to be tape delayed, and they said no.

So good news for those of us in Helena.

Just wondering if the game will be on Altitude in Billings, or is KULR 8 our only choice?

No altitude for this one. Altitude will be broadcasting the ISU game and Weber State games.

I got the official word from my inside source at KULR 8, and here's what she had to say,

"So our station in Bozeman is not tape delaying the game, it will play at 7pm. ...the game is playing in Billings on Bresnan at 7pm and will be tape delayed at midnight on KULR 8. We are tape delaying the game because Nascar is on and the last time we preempted Nascar, the fans threatened to come to the station with guns. The Nascar fans are crazy."

I just checked with ABC 18/28 (Bozeman) and the game will be live at 7:00 pm.

Cool. Thanks for the info. WIll have to find a bar/hotel bar that has Bresnan Cable 70! Maybe the Billings Hotel/Convention center will have it on. I will do some calling around.

So the Cats game is being tape delayed due to threats from NASCAR worshipping domestic terrorists. What a sad day. When is our country going to stand up to these evil-doers?

I'm not sure, but I think MaxMedia is ABC everywhere in Montana except Billings- NBC. That would explain the conflict with NASCAR in Billings.

when we lived in Billings, I don't think we ever saw one Cat game broadcast llive, except the Cat-griz. Of course my recollection could be faulty. It seemed like they were always delayed, so I doubt it has anything to do with nasty NASCAR fans. Also--KULR is part of Max Media:
