Just a few gems from Griz Dude

“Sac State will bring you guys back to earth again real soon. Enjoy your ten minutes in the sun.”

“If the Cat fans think that UC Davis had a good defense, just wait until PSU comes to town. The Vikings will win by at least 15 points. Just my honest opinion.”

“I am not a Bobby Hauck fan, as most of you know. But the fact is, after the Griz defeated the only other real contender in the Sky, PSU, last week, they will roll through the league undefeated. They have too much depth, and too many playmakers for any other teams to beat them. Save for PSU, Weber, and Montana, there are no other teams who play defense. And, Weber may not score a point on either PSU and Montana, because their offense is so inept.

The facts are there for any knowledgeable fan to see. The Sky is a two-team conference this year.”

“I am not trying to be an *sshole. Yes, I watched much of the Cat/NAU game on TV at a sports bar. What I saw was two teams with no defense. No Big Sky team can beat either PSU or the Griz with defenses like I witnessed.

You can poke fun of me all you want, but you will see that I was correct come November. The bottom 7 Sky teams will take turns beating each other. The Griz will end up 7-0, PSU will end up 6-1, and the next team, whoever it is, will be 4-3.”

“I hate to burst your bubble, Bobcat fans, after a great road win versus NAU. But, the Big Sky Conference is a two-team conference this year, PSU and the Griz. For the rest of the teams, including MSU, you could throw them into a basket and pull one of them out on any given week. Basically, the rest of the conference is very weak this season, and the bottom 7 teams (besides PSU and Montana) will take turns beating each other up every week. I do not expect PSU to lose another game after their new QB gets settles in. The Griz will not lose period in the Sky.

The Cats should look to next season. It isn't gonna happen for you this year. This is not smack, just the way I see it.”

“What are your predictions for the NAU game? Sorry, but I think NAU is one of the top 3 teams in the Big Sky this season (with the Griz and PSU). I think the Cats will be beaten soundly once again.

NAU 38

CATS 17”

“NAU will be the most surprising and improved team in the Sky this season. They are much better than people think. Do not be fooled by their two losses to IA teams. The were ahead of ASU at halftime.

Murietta has looked very good in his senior season. They finally have some good receivers for him to throw to, unlike like season. They will be a competitive test for all Big Sky teams.”

I wonder how these predictions tasted after this last weekend?

Capitol of the Hi-Line? Maybe football-wise, but that's about it. Okay, I also like your golf course a little better, and I you guys can party a little better... Wait a minute, maybe I should be a Mustang??

Just kidding, the sig below is not directed 70 miles to the west.

I'll bet griz dude was a steelers fan in the 70's, a Niners fan in the 80's and a packers fan in the 90's.
