IMO they played better. Hopefully this week we will get a pass rush and improvement on 3 and long. Also DC in box seems to help. Not enough time with the move to the 4-3 to get everything right. Thought the sacks and interception were good motivators. Anyone else think Clagett played tough?

THE O:
IMO they played below average at best. Hopefully this week we can run the ball, make longer than a 3 yard completion, and STOP turning over the ball. Also OC needs to work on play calling and O-LINE penalties. I like Mason.

Other thoughts?
Honestly, the only other thing I would add (and maybe in place of OC play calling) is better execution from the QB in those plays. If they can shore up these issues you bring up....I say we win.
I would say that Mason needs to start at RB and Rolovish at QB on the O. The D is moving in the right direction but needs to blitz more to create more turnover opportunities, and I say we win.
I don't know about that... tough one. You think Rolovich could do better than 19 for 24 or whatever it was?
Well the routes that were completed I think YOU could have completed 19-24
I think Rolovich moves better, throws sharper, and reads quicker... nuff said. I think he deserves a shot. Could it hurt? I don't think so... in fact we may have won against Eastern Washington if he were in there. IMO
I agree with the fact that it is not hard to complete a three yard pass. My two year old daughter could complete those. With Carpenter it all comes back to missing his reads. According to Kramer he is not looking downfield where there are open recievers, he is taking the dump off passes too often. Some of this problem comes from lack of protection but some of it also falls on Cory's shoulders. I would love to see him succeed but if he starts out slow again put in Rolo.
IMO, the pass protection has not been a problem in any of the losses. The O-line can't run block very well, but the pass blocking has been one of the bright spots.

Defense definitely came out more inspired than the last 2 games and got in their positions quicker. Agree that we need to get more pressure on the QB. I liked watching Clagett out there. Seemed to be in the right place at the right time and really unloaded on a few people.

Offense still needs work.

Cat Pride, are you going to say this week Cory, Jeffersen, and Mason did it without these guys??
Actually if you relook at the EWU game on tape, you will find you were a little off on that one also. I tend to hate people calling out players like that and it's been eating at me. Not the way to go with cat support. Sorry if I offended you, but it's a questionable approach.
