So bobby’s remark regarding the targeting call? Do I get the impression he thinks it was not a targeting?
I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt by assuming he didn’t see a replay.
He kept referencing it as a game changing play and implied that it led to a score for us, which if I remember correctly, they stopped us on that series anyways and we scored the next possession. He wanted to use it as an excuse, but I don’t think he remembered that correctly

Exactly right @BornBobcat2000 ! Bobby Hauck is such a good representation of that program. What an excuse maker! And then he rewrites the narrative to justify his delusions.

 Way too late for that! I always try to be nice to people when they're feeling down and are saying things that I don't think they really mean. It'd be cool if he walks his statement back.

My girlfriend, who used to be a Griz fan but likes the Cats now, was really upset about that play and when I told her what he said, she went ballistic. I then said that I didn't think he saw the replay or had a good view of the play. To which she replied, there's no reason for him to have said anything then and doing that sends a bad message to his players. She said the Griz players that were celebrating probably got that from him.

Plus if he didn’t see it his comment doesn’t make sense. He literally said “I know what I thought about it” when asked about the targeting implies he had an opinion about it. And saw it.

He’s just awful and I said before, I hope they sign him to a huge extension!

How did Brooks like the one outcome he didn't think was possible? :penalty:

I've supported him for years so I'm glad this week is over and he can get back to objective analysis. Looking forward to his thoughts.

@Colter_Nuanez will there be any audio content this week? I don’t want to waste my time refreshing the podcast streams if not. Usually I digest it for my data entry portion of the day at my sad job.

Just re-watched it. He DID agree with Colter that a Cat blowout was possible. Colter kind of talked him into it

The ESPN-ification of Skyline and the race to the bottom continues. That article might be a new low. More content (and the fact "content" is the focus) is not always better. I miss the old days when Colter did the writing and was scratching and clawing to carve out a media space for himself.

Just read it and thought the entire thing was magnificent. Calling it the litterbox while getting buried in it is objectively hilarious. I've never read anything by someone in the bargaining phase of grief. My guy wrote 4,000 words just to conclude that "maybe our coach ain't it"

Seriously good stuff.....I think I might read it to my kids before bed tomorrow night instead of "The Night Before Christmas"....this is way more entertaining.

Hard to believe this buffoon covered the Cats while at the Chronicle. Overall the editorial is amusing. He actually still believes that the Cats are a step below the Griz and would have fallen way below them based on this one outcome. He then lists off the multiple things that show how far ahead the Cats are. Head to head, title appearances, conference championships, in state recruiting, facilities, enrollment, national exposure. What a sorry man.

I didn't read it that way. I think he acknowledges that the Cats are a step ahead now and then lists off the reasons why. Either way we are a step ahead and I love it!
