Glad we have a Random thread because this is totally random! Does anybody know how to get rid of that annoying Bobcat Game Day Message that pops up on the iphone? I went in and disabled notifications but it still pops up every game day... not sure if it's coming from Wallet or what.

Is it coming from another app, like the ESPN app?

I’d love to know if there is a way to block the annoying dropdown pop up from this site? The adds here have gotten terrible, wish there was an option to purchase an add free login, as I can’t imagine it would be that much.

Never Mind, I found it! This morning when I got the email confirmation that the tickets were ready for Friday night, I added them to Wallet and then on a whim I went to click the 3 lines (hamburger) and turn off the notifications from there. Normally this can all be done from Settings\Notifications on the iphone from Wallet.

For whatever it’s worth (and previously mentioned by others) if you come into BN using DuckDuckGo the drop downs and ads almost completely vanish.

Looks like UC Davis is having trouble finding a place for 30 freshman to stay, as they won't be able to stay in the dorms. Due to Christmas break.

That’s the last thing they should have to be worried about as they head into these games. I guess if they go FBS and play bowl games, this may not be an issue? Appreciate MSU and other quarterfinal/semi final regulars that plan for these events and not only allow the players, but all students to stay so they can support the team.

Didn't we have a similar issue not too long ago? I don't think it impacted the team but didn't the school shut down on the same day or the day of a playoff game which impacted student attendance because they all had to move out?

I'm sure it's an issue most years. In fact, I believe MSU's semester ends today and graduation is tomorrow. Dining halls close down tomorrow night, dorms close 1pm Saturday.

No. MSU has always allowed students living in tge halls access to their rooms over break. There could be a fee, like $25 per night but any student that wants or needs to stay has access to their rooms.

Band members, cheer squad and Footbal players that had to stay had their fees waived.

I can't believe that the Administration at UC Davis can't figure this out.
