I agree grzh8tr, and furthermore for Catmom to insiuate that two other players have done something wrong in the Davis situation is absolutely ludicris.

There is definately something weird about Catmom....hangs around the players WAY to much and is WAY to friendly.

THANKYOU!!! when i said this months ago people were all over me. i don't want to lay any personal attacks, as i don't know here personally...although for the record, i DO feel like i'm about 90% sure who she is, i think it's just weird the relationship she has with the players.

What the HELL is it any business of you to speculate on "the weirdness" of anyone on this board. By definition all of us would be considered weird for posting on this board and being so caught up in Bobcat Sport. The expressions "get a life" and "sports geeks" come to mind. I do find it somewhat offensive that we are not to critique our basketball coaches, a little bit more latitude is given to critique football coaches, but bobcat posters are fair game for accusations.

Say what you want about catmom, but she does care about our athletes. She tends to put the athletes need above those of the coaches and programs, and I believe that is her (I think it is safe to assume catmom is a she) right to do so, just like it is the right for some of you guys to take the attitude " the coaches are always right and justified". I tend to take the middle ground, but someone needs to be the voice of the student athletes, because whether you want to believe it or not coaches are hired and fire based on performance and when push comes to shove whose interest do you think a coach is going to look out for.

I don't always agree with catmom but she is serving a good purpose, and I respect her for that!

I myself speculate as to my own weirdness daily. She and I may not always agree either, but it is nice that some people show concern for these kids not just as athletes but as students/people
