@Colter_Nuanez On your KSKY segment you said the Bobcats have 2 losses and if we lose Cat-griz (to use the correct term) that's our 3rd loss and that it would be impossible to seed the Cats in the top 4.

1. As far as the committee is concerned it would be our second loss. Not our third.

2. Which two teams would jump us for the 3 and 4 seeds?

I know "good losses" isn't a good argument but our only 2 losses would be against the #2 teams in the country at the time. And the committee actually watches games and understands what's going on. They aren't poll voters. They know that while SDSU is in freefall, they were a top 4 team at worst until their QB and other important starters went down, so that loss hasn't gotten worse. We also lost that game by a yard in 2OT so it wasn't just any loss.

If you remove our first 2 games from our SOS we're still likely higher than Lehigh and Tenn Tech and maybe even Tarleton and have a better resume with a top 10 win over UC Davis (assumed at this point) and another top 25 win over NAU on the road. Plus the committee knows that even a down BSC is better than the east coast conferences.

We might fall to 4 but everyone should be shocked if we fall further than that unless we just implode in Missoula. There simply aren't enough teams to pass us.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Correct. Assuming Cats take care of business against UCD, they lock into the #4 seed, worst case scenario..... unless they lose to the Griz by fifty or something like that.

If it comes to that can we ask to drop to 6? ๐Ÿ˜

2 is ideal, but 3 is the next best option right... although then I guess we get back into that discussion about whether you'd rather travel to Fargo or Zoo.

I meant if we somehow drop to 4, I'd rather drop to 6-7.

This might've happened a while ago, but the game was flexed from ESPNU to ESPN2.

I have no argument because your rationale is sound. I hope the winner of the rivalry gets the 1/2 and the loser gets the 3/4. That would be the just, right and accurate thing to do.

When I said it would be impossible, I obviously didn't consider WHO would actually replace the Bobcats in the top 4. Would be a nice precedent for the committee to set for a 3-loss team (I know one is FBS) to get a top 3/4 seed.

A lot to unpack here in regards to UC Davis, as well as Cat Griz. Definitely worth the listen if you know what to expect. Jordan trip is well spoken and a smart football player. Lots to learn for the average listener about the team over the hill and how they think. Iโ€™ll probably post this in multiple spots.

For sake of thread length, maybe we can delineate each subject covered in this video to each respective thread
I think there is a lot of good intelligent information in this interview that is fun to discuss

Jordan Tripp was a complete tool 10 years ago. He was one of those who called us "Bozeman State" and said we didn't deserve to have Montana in our name, etc etc. And that's fine, but when you decide to try to break into sports media after years of over-the-top rivalry smack, those things can come back to bite you. I'll never listen to anything with his name on it. F him.
Just my opinion.
