Just watched it on the replay. He did a good job of fitting it in although I'm sure it sounded strange to people not in on the joke.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

What flavor of curry is a 80 yard pick six by a backup defensive lineman?

I feel like an offensive player might help the most. Maybe Mitch Brott, or Lance McCutcheon, so we can turn 50-50 balls into 40-60.

Brayden Konkel. Can you imagine him and Dowler in the defensive backfield?Run-the-ball wrote: ↑Wed Oct 29, 2025 12:32 pmIf you could pick 1 former bobcat to add to this team, who are you picking and why?

It's quite a credit to Justin Lamson that nobody has said the most recent Walter Payton winner so far.Run-the-ball wrote: ↑Wed Oct 29, 2025 12:32 pmIf you could pick 1 former bobcat to add to this team, who are you picking and why?
Anyways, one former Bobcat. I'm going to cheat and pick one for offense and one for defense.
Offense:
Elvis Akpla. Have to give honorable mentions here to Junior Adams and Lance McCutcheon. Marcus Wehr is hard to pass up too.
Defense:
Daniel Hardy
The right answer is probably Bill Kollar, but I never watched him play, so I'm going mostly recent history here.

Out of all the answers submitted so far I still think the two of us have it right. As great as it would be to add some more offensive or defensive firepower, special teams is the weakest position group on the team.grizzh8r wrote: ↑Wed Oct 29, 2025 1:51 pmTommy Sullivancoloradocat wrote: ↑Wed Oct 29, 2025 1:25 pmBrendan HallRun-the-ball wrote: ↑Wed Oct 29, 2025 12:32 pmIf you could pick 1 former bobcat to add to this team, who are you picking and why?

Re: Golden Coolie Questions
So, with Scottre having a lackluster year at New Mexico do you think he enters the transfer portal this season? If so should MSU pursue him?
I don't fault him for chasing NIL, but if he has aspirations of playing beyond college, I have to imagine he would be noticed more at MSU by scouts given last year he was top 5 in total yds rushing and probably top 3 in yds per attempt. I would love to see what he and Jones could do in the backfield together now that this offense is balanced.

But yes I was thinking of how good a place we're in because there are no glaring position group weaknesses... or we could all think of the "best ever" at a certain position and plug them in, I was thinking Tommy or Lulay so we know we'd have a proven winner legend QB, or Michael Jefferson at receiver, Joey Thomas at Corner, Ryan Johnson at RB, the list goes on. Jan Stenerud... lol.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

It’s not that I don’t want him, I just think there are other positions with a greater need.bobcatfan123 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 05, 2025 2:30 pmAlso weird that none said Troy AndersonBelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Wed Nov 05, 2025 9:59 amIt's quite a credit to Justin Lamson that nobody has said the most recent Walter Payton winner so far.Run-the-ball wrote: ↑Wed Oct 29, 2025 12:32 pmIf you could pick 1 former bobcat to add to this team, who are you picking and why?
