It's been 9 Years

Post by JDoub » Mon Sep 08, 2025 10:56 am

we are currently on a 3 game losing streak

that hasn't happened since 2016

First time in Vigen's tenure

Even so, this team is still an NC contender IMO

These losses will fuel this Bobcat team - no reason why this team can't go 10-0 the rest of this season and get the DakotaMonkey off this program's back

I, for one, hope we see the Bunnies again in the playoffs - it will be a very different Bobcat team by then

And look at who the 3 losses have been to.
Last years National Champion, the NC the previuos 2 years and Oregon, a contender for this year and last years FBS national Championship.
It sucks to lose any game, let alone 3 in a row but if those aren't quality losses, what is?

absolutely quality losses

difference is 10 years ago those losses would be expected, but where this program is at now - we expect to win at least one or two of those, rightfully so. we are on the cusp as a program - to dethrone the dakotas

two games we could've won

Oregon is on another level this year - even at the FBS view

this season could be the inflection point - tough road schedule, and an opportunity raise this program even higher

Be grateful to be in the same breath as a national champion dynasty. Then beat them and all is well.

Like I said elsewhere I hope I’m wrong. If I am mistaken they win out and beat one or both dsus. That would be a huge positive. Add in a mutilation of the gris in Missoula and I’ll be silent. Vigen’s seat will be ice cold.

Only thing better than watching the gris lose is when the Cats win

Vigen’s seat IS ice cold.

The day Vigen isn’t the head coach at MSU is the day he leaves on his own for a bigger school.

Big difference is these recent losses to the DSUs would have been blowouts a decade ago.

MSU has significantly closed the talent gap in just a few years under Vigen.

Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

What a ride

It literally could not be any colder. His seat is cryogenically frozen.

Somebody tell him not to sit on Ted Williams!
