I hope this kid is more loyal to his dog, than the teams he's committed too. Poor pup could be looking at a trip to the shelter.
Eh-- unfortunate loss for us, but understandable. He'll be playing in FBS and maybe the scheme works well for him. This was a kid who had allegedly big-time offers before he moved to MT-- I was surprised when he committed here.

This probably would have worried or bothered me a few years ago, but I honestly just don’t care. It’s disappointing, but I’d rather him do it now than in a couple years. There’s some good QB’s on the roster, and plenty of time to get a commit, transfer, or even flip somebody who’s already committed. Maybe I’m being overly optimistic, but I think we can look at this as a good thing too. I’d say good luck to the kid, but I’d be lying. Hope Sac sucks!
Yeah, if this were a different team it would be a big deal but it's only July. We'll just go get a different HS QB recruit.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

It seems ro me that he may be more of a "me" person rhan a "we" person. If that's the case then MSU doesn't need him on the TEAM.

Remember, Sac isn't an FBS program yet and probably won't be when Presley gets there. Sac is currently FCS and will be FCS independent in 2026. They are still hoping for an FBS invite.

I’d be careful of being too critical of kids changing commitments. Don’t think MSU/Vigen doesn’t recruit players who are already committed too. Just appreciate the ones who do decide to stick around, like Britt Linder. He said he turned down more money from Nevada to come here. Gotta love that.
This.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Sac might be the perfect place for him since you know that their Deion Sanders wannabe coach with his black cowboy hat is going to be out of there as fast as he can pack up the rental house once he gets a job offer from an actual FBS team. No commitment needed other than a few months at a time.

I wish him many losses in the Big Sky. Never been a fan of Pam State.

I am pretty confident they will be FBS by his RS Freshman season, if not before.

Take a deep breath.
Is that what you said when he decommitted from Boise State and verbally here?

Ya, that always makes me giggle... God's plan. Then when players are questioned about making more $$, sometimes it turns to, I have to consider what's best for my family... and also I want to drive a Lambo. lol. Don't get me wrong, not criticizing the decisions here.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Like many of y'all said, the chances of this kid ever taking a snap as a QB at Sac State are probably about 25%.
