Kiss of death. No preseason pick has actually won the conference for as far back as I remember.

Of the Top 5 in those polls, only NAU has their QB as a returning starter. Lots of question marks there, so I always tend to look at the lines and MSU has the best o-line and backs in the conference, so the offense should be elite again no matter who is taking snaps.

Whoever is QB for MSU is going to have mobility, and there is an opportunity to expand the passing game as that was Tommy’s weakness, even though it didn’t show up that way on paper due to his legs.

Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

What a ride

I predict Sac State is a top 2-3 team by the end of the year.

Your picking them to beat SDSU then? Because if they lose that game it would take a lot of attrition above them (Cats included) to get that high IMHO.

I think he means they’ll be one of the best teams with a 2-3 record.

People are overrating the hell out of Sac State this year. They're going to be mid at best

So much will depend on how they gel, especially if they start slowly.

However, they are as talented as anybody and arguably have the most skilled QB in the conference. That will take you places.

I’m surprised MSU only got 37 of 54 first place votes. Bulletin board material? That’s less than 70%. Barely half (7 of 12) of the coaches. 30 of 42 media.
