I know @BelgradeBobcat is a huge cycling nut. He may join in.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

It’s going to be an interesting Tour this year. Vingegaard and Pogacar are the obvious top 2 with Van Aert a podium guy IMO. I think Germay and Phillipson are going to battle for the Green jersey and I have no clue on the Polka dot jersey other than Pogacar. So far, the cards are falling as predicted.

Spoiler Alert! Jasper Philippson looks like he broke his collarbone and hit his head pretty hard on a slow stage today…and is out of the race.

The biggest blunder so far this tour has been Remco and Roglic getting gapped on the crosswinds on day 1. Roglic responding indifferently and Remco saying “we fell asleep bit asleep.” Bad look for Quick Step. How is their race director not screaming into Remco’s ear to catch the wheel?

Yeah, well, it might be a bit of over confidence believing that Remco and Primoz are seasoned veterans who can read the flags on the side of the road and be on top of cross winds. It’s interesting that Roglic seems to always crash out, or get sick, or have a really bad day. I like him but he seems very casual these days. The young guns seem way more hungry.

Feel terrible for him. Not how you want week one to go.
