I'll be in Missoula next weekend. Remind me and I'll try to get some pictures.Bobcatsinmso wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 5:46 pmIt currently is deflated, which makes me wonder if it gets too hot to be inside it. No idea about the HVAC it may have. Maybe they cant afford to keep it up year round. Flat on the ground can't be good for it either. So glad MSU went hard shell, poor gris and their bubbles....

Re: Indoor facility
That is strange. Our two bubble tents ant MSU are both inflated. Not sure if they have ever been down. Our bubbles are white so probable somewhat efficient with the heat. I think the Gris one is maroon so maybe heat is an issue. How hilarious would that be!Bobcatsinmso wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 5:46 pmIt currently is deflated, which makes me wonder if it gets too hot to be inside it. No idea about the HVAC it may have. The bubble was down earlier in the week for electrical repairs and to apply the logos. Was just passing through Missoula and the bubble is now fully erected

Just beating Tom posting his own post. Also waiting on the first person to question the wrinkles in the foreground.

Too much plastic on the floor. I don’t know who designed that, but it looks bad.

I'm guessing its a cover on things while something dries or was sprayed.mslacatfan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 10:41 amToo much plastic on the floor. I don’t know who designed that, but it looks bad.

I can't figure out if these posts are supposed to be sarcasm or if people really don't understand that the building isn't done yet and that's why there are plastic coverings on the floors and walls.lutecat wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 10:44 amI'm guessing its a cover on things while something dries or was sprayed.mslacatfan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 10:41 amToo much plastic on the floor. Re: Indoor facility
I'm pretty certain that the plastic is to protect the facility from all the sweat and dirt from the athletes working out in there. We want to keep the facility shiny looking and new.MSU01 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 11:05 amI can't figure out if these posts are supposed to be sarcasm or if people really don't understand that the building isn't done yet and that's why there are plastic coverings on the floors and walls.lutecat wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 10:44 amI'm guessing its a cover on things while something dries or was sprayed.mslacatfan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 10:41 amToo much plastic on the floor. Yes, I believe mslacatfan is being sarcastic.

After 40 years of working around customers on housing and automotive projects, I still have to resist the yard to be too sarcastic when they make comments when the job is not done!MSU01 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 11:05 amI can't figure out if these posts are supposed to be sarcasm or if people really don't understand that the building isn't done yet and that's why there are plastic coverings on the floors and walls.lutecat wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 10:44 amI'm guessing its a cover on things while something dries or was sprayed.mslacatfan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 10:41 amToo much plastic on the floor. Re: Indoor facility
Thanks for the pic 88TC and AFCAT. I was in town last Thursday and swung by to snoop around the indoor. I was able to look in the northeast side door that was open and see the workers spraying on that beautiful blue track and got some pics of the action too. The workers were on the far side of the building from me and about midway down that side. From that distance they looked tiny. It's very exciting to see this thing getting so close to the finish line.
I think the workers purposely put the wrinkles there to see what kind and how many unfounded comments of concern that they could get saying they were not doing a good job. I'm not biting, they're doing a great job.
If you're looking for someone with a little authority, I'm your man. I have as little as anyone!

I was being sarcastic.
Mostly making fun of the posters that can’t help but complain about the construction pictures. Usually complaining about something that’s not even a real thing. Hahaha.
