So, jah, what you're basically saying is that the SDSU coach was a jackass for calling the timeout; that may be but Bobby proved himself to be the BIGGER jackass by responding as he did.

His choices were to A) be the bigger man and simply punt it away, or B) go the childish, "I'll show you" route and sink to the other guy's level.

It told me they wanted to play a little more so thats what I did for them. It would be unsportsmanlike if we then took 4 shots to the endzone, which we didn't, we took a knee. Iowa scored on us in a situation like that last week and that didn't bother me, it was on us to stop them."

I think he stated it loud and clear and he made a good point.
