Miller owned Darling.
Darling looked like he wanted to enter the transfer portal mid game.
Yeah he did - terrible body language.
Darling's attitude bugs me. He whines alot to the refs. He just comes across as a selfish player. As you said body language. I was more impressed with the other dud on their team.
I know he was selected MVP and had some great games but I wasn’t impressed after the display tonight. An MVP is gonna have a bad night in the scoring department but an MVP goes on to contribute in other ways like defense, running the offense, assists, pumping up his teammates. Darling went into full pout mode and shut down.

Did you ever see our WBB MVP, Esme Morales, shut down when she was having a single digit night? Not a chance with the maturity she had on the floor.

Watching ISU on offense when Darling has the ball is like watching MSU when Brandon was playing. If ISU had less than 15 seconds on the shot clock and Darling had the ball, everyone else on ISU stopped moving and just watched Darling. I know he was the league MVP...but 2 assists from your star point guard is not an MVP performance. Very talented scorer, but also a very spoiled and selfish player in my opinion.

It's why he shouldn't have won league MVP....They are 15-16 for God sakes.....he can be Newcomer of the Year and first-team All-Big Sky, but the league MVP should come from one of the co-champions or at least from a team with an overall winning record...
