Brian really was a ground breaker. He loved FCS football. The national media coverage wouldn't be the same if he didn't have his impact at HERO Sports. Sam came along and it took off.

I rarely agreed with Brian's takes but I really appreciated Brian for the time and effort he put into the FCS. The more people the FCS can get to draw attention to the subdivision, the better.

Brian was a very passionate and dedicated writer about FCS football. If anyone who had Dave McLaughlin as a prof at MSU, Brian was his nephew I think. I’m sorry to hear about Brian’s passing.

Brian picked MSU #1 every single week last season.


UM is the university equivalent of Axe Body Spray and essential oils.
