Guys there are a bunch of these types of posts. Its wild out there. Also, be prepared for Griz fans simping after the Bison posts because...of course they would.
Also, please search the definition of simping so I don't have to explain it.

Re: FCS Championship 'Full Game REPLAY'
I’m a Minnesota fan. The Gophers Twins Vikings Wild Twolves Lakers North Stars. About 300 or more seasons with just two championships and both of those were lucky in one way or the other. The first one the Twins beat two teams that were flat better. I’m not apologizing…I’m just admitting the truth. The only legit best team and title was 1991. Even that had some good luck. More than the Braves had.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

You know who Zabel did struggle against? Kenny Eiden in the title game. So much so that Zabel was one of the few Bison players to skip the immediate rush to the podium because he wanted to find Kenny and shake his hand and talk about the battle.

Eiden is set to be an absolute force next year. #41?VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 12:01 pm

Eiden was probably MSU's most effective DE the last 6-7 games of the season. That would be cool if he's the #41 guy next year. Seems like it would be either him or Brott.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 12:01 pm

Crazy that Eiden and Brott are already going to be seniors. Time flies. We're going to be talking about both a ton next season.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 12:19 pmEiden was probably MSU's most effective DE the last 6-7 games of the season. Well, since they are the only two seniors from Montana, that would be a good bet. Unless, Cole Sain returns and then there would be three.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 12:19 pmEiden was probably MSU's most effective DE the last 6-7 games of the season. Was there ever a clear reason why Perkins didn't get/take a medical redshirt this season?

Re: FCS Championship 'Full Game REPLAY'
I’m guessing Perks decision had something to do with his injury not being season ending. However, I saw other players kind of use their injuries to not play more than four games and preserve their red shirts, so maybe Perk just wanted to move on with his life. Have no idea about Sain but he was still on the 2025 roster a couple days ago.The Butcher wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 8:52 amWhen will we know about Sain's decision about coming back for one more season?AFCAT wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 2:05 pmWell, since they are the only two seniors from Montana, that would be a good bet. Re: FCS Championship 'Full Game REPLAY'
Playing less than four games wouldn't have mattered for Perkins anyway since he used his normal redshirt year way back in 2019. I agree with you that he likely decided to just play out the season and contribute as much as he could, then move on with his life instead of trying to come back for a seventh year of football. Sain being listed on the 2025 roster suggests to me that he's coming back, although I suppose we'll need to wait for official confirmation of that.AFCAT wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 8:58 amI’m guessing Perks decision had something to do with his injury not being season ending. Is Sain enrolled this semester? He would have to be to participate in spring ball. I imagine he is, so I wonder when winter workouts start. I think players can only work out on their own right now, but I'm not sure how that all works.MSU01 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 9:05 amPlaying less than four games wouldn't have mattered for Perkins anyway since he used his normal redshirt year way back in 2019. Re: FCS Championship 'Full Game REPLAY'
MSU has scored 66 points in consecutive seasons vs NDSU. Only one other team has scored 66 or more in consecutive seasons vs the Bison since 2011. North Dakota scored 49 in 2023 and had 21 in 2022 and 17 in 2024, so 70 (22-23) and 66 (23-24). Lmk if I missed anyone. Believe MSU is the only team to score 30+ in consecutive seasons.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Re: FCS Championship 'Full Game REPLAY'
Since 2011 only one team has scored 30+ on them in consecutive games (MSU); only five teams (UM, EWU, MSU, UIW, SDSU) have had over 500 yards; only two teams have scored 66 or more in consecutive games (UND and MSU). I’m having someone double check these. Odd that MSU is the only team that shows up more than once and they show up in all three.

Re: FCS Championship 'Full Game REPLAY'
Sorry Tom but moral victories here make me livid. I don't care that we scored so much more on them than any other team. We've lost in brutal fashion 2 straight years after losing bad the other times. I have yet to watch any of that game but I keep seeing parts of it in my mind over and over again. I keep wondering what if...
Vigen see's what everyone did on the third down play that Miller ran for a TD and called a timeout because we didn't have anyone in the middle?
Tommy doesn't double clutch it on third down to Rohan in the 4th and he completes the pass to convert on third down?
We don't go for it on fourth down with 2 min remaining in the fist half and punt instead so it's 14-3 or 17-3 at the half?
Imagine how the players feel?

Sorry, but I don’t care if you like moral victories. I just see interesting numbers or things pop into my mind so I dig into them because that’s just how my mind works. I do this whether it’s from wins or losses. I’m not real big on winning or losing.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 6:09 pmSorry Tom but moral victories here make me livid. I’m not trying to cheer anyone up or bum anyone out. Just having fun with numbers. It’s like my Play-Doh.
In fact, I like numbers so much I’m waiting for it to be 5:45 so I can turn off a go pro camera at Elizabeth Warren and MT Heritage/Burning Tree in Butte and then take it home and watch the video and count which direction each car goes.
