Hate the Griz, but Bison are a clear second. They are borderline dirty on the field. Cheering when Lonyetta was hurt was disgusting. Can’t stand them.

Gris fans and many of their players the last 25 years act like their program is on par with NDSU and some big rivalry. At least the Bison players and their fans have a reason to act better than every other program. The Gris are just another decent program and in recent years, a lesser program than MSU’s. They’ve lost the most championship games though, so there’s that I guess.

Not even close. I can’t hate NDSU because they’re a better program. I can laugh at and also hate the Gris because they think they’re some sort of gold standard for the FCS and for unknown reason think a few titles three decades ago is some sort of current achievement. It’s actually pathetic how little they’ve accomplished given the huge facilities advantages they had for so many years.

Never but their post game interviews really made it hard. Kept referring to Cam as the best QB on the field. Tommy won player of the year by three different organizations and was voted first team All American and Cam second. That's 4-0 Tommy!

Interviews and post-game comments have become nonsensical across college sports. #4 said after the game it’s unfortunate the better team lost but god is good in all circumstances. WTH? LOL. Vince Lombardi and Bear Bryant are rolling in their graves.

biSon fans, in sober, everyday interactions are fine. Usually nice, but always with underlying smugness. When things had a few; trrrible. Both times in Frisco, trying been lippy, rude, arrogant, and most recently, borderline creepy to our wives.

Have you ever listened to Tommy before? This kid is one of the few players where respect for him is mutual on both sides. He loves his team and is passionate about his team after a crushing upset loss. He gives glory to God - so he is a man of faith. And yet you take a pot shot at him because you are a stupid Gris fan with nothing to celebrate but a Cat’s loss. If you know anything about Tommy, I am guessing that Vince Lombardi and Bear Bryant would have loved him on their team. Smart, tough and humble.

Yes….usually my interactions with Grizzly fans are a passing joke followed by “did you grow up in Montana.” When a Bison fan sees me in my Bobcat, gear it is initiated by an arrogant comment, then followed up by them fishing for a compliment about their program. They don’t like it when you don’t gush about Fargo being the center of the football universe. This happens literally every time I’m in the Costco on the weekend.

I wonder if you are the Bobcat I encountered in late June of 2022. I was in a little barbershop in a strip mall, near the big mall just off I-94 and something (my first time in Fargo). I had a Bobcat T-shirt on and you said “Go Cats” and that started a little conversation.

The better you are more haters a team gets. The hate and poor fan base go both ways and not fans feel the same what others have done.
I have seen poor sportsmanship from us too. When at war and battle things get tense and out of control. I did hear from a few Bison Fans that if we lose this game, they are fine losing to the Bobcats.
I would bet some have said the same about Bobcat fans. I heard it last year when Bison were guests here in Bozeman it was a terrible experience maybe a pay back. It just takes a few to have that way of thinking.

Outside of the game, I had nothing but good interactions with Bison fans. Little insufferable how nonchalant they were about being in the game or winning but they were all nice enough.

In the game they were fine for the most part except for the Lonyatta thing and hearing them cheer on some of the extra-curricular stuff. Course the drunk Bobcat fan behind me yelling at them the whole game might have insighted some of that. Starting a cheer while a player is down is bush-league and I'm assuming most of the time they are above that.

I’m getting tired of seeing people say the Bison are a dirty team. They are very, very physical, but they aren’t dirty. Football wasn’t meant to played soft.

Anyways, while I’m sick of them, I don’t dislike them like I do UM. If anything, I respect the heck out of that program.
