Travis Theis reminded me of Cam Scadebo. If itcwasn't for the red hair they could be brothers the way they run! One tough little somebitch!

Tough as nails. Incredible balance. Glad we put them in the rear view mirror.

Yeah, I think he's the hardest runner I've seen in the FCS, and that includes Skatebo.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. You could see the guy smiling confidently between plays. He knows he’s hard to take down and really stood out today.

I’m surprised we didn’t hear more about this guy. At least I hadn’t heard of him before last week.

Especially when the refs let him go to a knee and then get up and keep running...

Was easily the best running back we've seen. 6th year senior, major respect for him. Every time the camera panned in close on him during the game he had a smirk on his face it looked like!

Averaged 7.9 ypc against one of the best run Ds in FCS that was allowing well under 4 ypc all season.

And I'd be willing to bet that more than half of those came after contact.

Mad props to this guy.

I don’t recall seeing a RB at this level that had that combination of toughness, quickness and speed.

Absolutely wouldn’t go down on first contact, had great lateral quickness and when he did get into the open he had some serious break away speed.

Danny Woodhead clone. Gave me flashbacks that were not pleasant, but a way better outcome. =D^

Theis is way bigger and a much more powerful runner than Woodhead.

He reminded me of Larison.

I knew he was physical but he was both quicker and faster than I thought. Hell of a player.

Nope, bigger than Larison. I'd say he's a poor man's Toby Gerhart, stud RB from Stanford about a decade ago that got robbed of a Heisman.

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

I would have compared him to a faster version of Cody Kirk. He seemed to have that great power, churn of the legs, and sense of balance that Cody had… just with the ability to outrun people.

Yes he was special. His balance was incredible. I kept yelling over and over “tackle that sombitch. Easier said than done as we all witnessed.

He looked to the bench many times while tapping his helmet, like he was asking for a break, and there would be a substitution. I imagined a concussion issue, maybe chronic.

That’s just how you signal you need a break, and the way he ran, I don’t blame him for needing a break.
