Like a dog to its vomit so goes the gris and the Portal. This will be the norm when you build with it instead of normal recruits. Have to refill the cupboard every offseason.
To be fair if you look at who they offer in state, they lose to the Cats, or they don't pan out. I seriously think their coaching staff isn't good at evaluating and recruiting talent. Portal kinda negates that because you can see it on the field or someone else did it for them.

This portal stuff is so interesting. Some teams lose all their studs and cannot recover. Then some teams lose studs and have the depth to bring another guy in. Both us and Idaho lost a lot of studs, arguably they lost more. But both teams are once again top 8 maybe even top 6 teams in the country. We are the number one team in the country and we lost 2 honorable mentions players to P4 schools and a couple more talented players. Hopefully this can give us comfort towards the next couple of seasons where we will be forced to have guys step up.
