Great Osobor to Brandon Walker

Post by BelgradeBobcat » Tue Dec 03, 2024 11:33 pm

Watching Danny Sprinkle's Washington Huskies play UCLA tonight. Huskies are 6-1, but don't look like the Utah State team Danny had last year. It might take him a couple of years here.

Great Osobor's game is similar to Brandon Walker. They're about the same size, both like to back down their defender, the ball gets stuck with both of them, and both go to the line a lot where neither are super great at shooting the freebies. Osobor is the better player. He's got a quicker spin move and longer arms-and he's a much better passer. But Walker is a really good player who still has lots of room to improve. If we are wondering what Great Osobor would have been like as a Bobcat after Jubrile Belo, just blur your eyes a bit and watch Brandon Walker.

Poor man's Osobor. You could see Greats talent his first year. He really has continued to develop. Hopefully Walker can as well. Commit to defense and rebounding while developing his passing will open up his game.
