Never understand why special team coaches don’t tell their punter to just make sure the punt goes out of bounds or the kickoff better be a freakin touchback.

Even if you shank the damn thing, I’d much rather face their offense at the 25 than kick it to Bergen.

Eddie George in his presser says the punter was trying to kick it out of bounds in the 2nd one. Says the emphasized all week not letting him do his thing.

As long as the Jackrabbits make any attempt to tackle that will be the case. That was a poor effort last night.

It isn’t hard to angle a punt out of bounds. At least Bergan gave the 11,000 fans in WaGriz something to cheer about last night

Lehigh @ Idaho?
ISU @ Davis?
Nova @ UIW?
I don’t think any of the top 4 seeds will be tested.
Honestly after watching the games today I think most of these games will be multiple score spreads.
It’s just the Reddit lines but they tend to be pretty close. Like I said only 2 single digit spreads and both are more than a TD.

Surprised that the MSU spread is that low. UT-Martin's last two regular season games were a 10-9 home loss to Tennessee Tech and a 33-27 overtime squeaker also at home against Lindenwood. Give me MSU -15 all day long.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought this would be a 20+ spread all day long.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

A little msu/sdsu/Davis parlay might be a nice way to offset the egregious rake that sportsbetMT takes. Davis -7.5 at home feels way light and i think the griz might lose 45-3.

Betting against the CAA was proven pretty profitable last week.GoldstoneCat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 3:12 amA little msu/sdsu/Davis parlay might be a nice way to offset the egregious rake that sportsbetMT takes. Davis -7.5 at home feels way light and i think the griz might lose 45-3.

Anyone else kinda bummed that our playoff path after Martin is most likely Idaho than Davis? Part of the appeal of playoffs is playing teams you’ve almost never played before, not teams you played just this season. Would have loved a Mercer QF.

I think every seeded team was hoping for Mercer. HahahaProdigal Cat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 7:54 pmAnyone else kinda bummed that our playoff path after Martin is most likely Idaho than Davis? If we get to the semi's, we will play all new teams. Lehigh in the QF and South Dakota in the SF.
Hating the griz since 02.

Re: Playoffs Round 2
I tend to agree but I think Davis could be a tough matchup vs the Yotes. Their run defense is good but when I watched it seemed they were gettable on the outside. It's just the MVFC teams all just pound the rock. None of them are willing to spread it out and throw it a little. It isn't the way they are built. I also think Davis can shut them down on defense.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 8:11 pmI think we'll see South Dakota.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2024 7:54 pmAnyone else kinda bummed that our playoff path after Martin is most likely Idaho than Davis? I down on Idaho as much as anyone but I will eat my hat if they lose at home to Lehigh. That game in Richmond was some bad ugly football.
