S - Polidore
CB - Powdrell
PR - Dowler
K - Sansted

HM - Mastel/Reed, Crews, Dowler, Eckert.

I think NOCO's punter gets the nod for first team because he gets so many opportunities to punt from deep in his own territory, Hall doesn't punt much and often has to go for more hangtime to avoid a touchback, which probably hurts his average.

I'd put Danny U as an outside shot at the first team. Depends on how much Vigen is able to convince the others and if he is able to get both Danny and O'Reilly. Heck, didn't Hill get injured most of his 1st Team selection year and Snell was definitely injured quite a bit of his 1st team year.

I know Grebe's stats don't pop, but who is DPOY if not him?

Keyshawn James-Newby from Idaho jumps out to me from who I’ve seen. Big Sky sack leader. No one else stood apart from me, but he caught my eye.

The only time I noticed him was when he hit Mellott after the whistle and drew a 15 yard penalty to help us out of a 3rd and 12.

Well ya, there was that. I was trying to think of someone besides a Bobcat. I’ve watched a couple UI games and he just stood out to me

I was kinda being smart, I know he's a good player. I haven't watched a lot of Idaho games this year.

Is there stats for punters pinning the ball inside the 20, 10, and 5? And a stat for flipping the field?

If a punter is good at pinning the ball inside the 10 that should be better than having a high average distance.

Inside 20 yes. But 66 punts compared to 30, with 23 inside 20 compared to 18. No question Hall is the better punter, but unfortunately stats don't always show.

How does voting work? I seem to remember Choate saying something when he was here about how he couldn't get everyone on the teams he wanted and had to pick his spots to push. I think it had something to do with where you finish in the standings but I assume even the championship team doesn't just get an unlimited number of players named even if they deserve it.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

You do usually notice that if a few guys are close and one is a senior, the senior gets the nod. Also coaches kids, see Robbie Hauck for a few years and probably Jaxton Eck this year, not sure Cooper Barnum saw the field enough. I think "picking spots to push" is about reaching out to other coaches and agreeing to vote for each other's players.

My predictions:

1st Team

QB - Tommy
RB - Scottre
FB - Rohan
OL - Marcus, Conner
DL - Brody
LB - McCade
S - Rylan
PR - Taco
P - Hall

2nd Team

RB - Adam
WR - Ty
OL - Cole
DL - Paul
DE - Kenneth
CB - Simeon

Honorable Mention

TE - Ryan L.
OL - Titan
LB - Danny
NB - Miles
CB - Andrew
S - Dru
K - Myles

I'd be very surprised if my first team isn't spot on. Cole could possibly be the first team center but having three on their has been hard to come by. I really hope Paul, Kenny, and Simeon make the 2nd team but wouldn't be surprised if they are all HM. Danny and Dru making HM is more of a nod despite them missing half of their seasons. Regardless, we should be well represented but be ready to be surprised by how many don't make it.

I’m interested to see if Bergen gets the nod over Taco. Also, will they award Long Snapper? Tommy S could be in contention there.

I mean have we ever had a bad snap in his tenure?

Added Sullivan.
Dowler 40 returns for 536 yards and a TD. 13.4 average; Bergen 8 returns for 134 yards and a TD. 16.8 average.

I've been saying since about mid-year that I think Sain should be in the running for team MVP. Obviously, that's Mellott, but when you think about how well he replaced Perkins it has to be considered.

Definitely agree here. Tommy is the obvious guy, but Sain has been fantastic. After a couple games he really turned things on.

I thought the teams would've come out by now. Last year they came out on the Monday after Cat-Griz as I recall. I think one of the BSC head coaches mentioned something about being busy on a call about it. Think it was Hauck or Vigen, so I figured it'd be early this week at the latest.
