This may be the most confident I've ever been heading into a Cat/Griz matchup. The Griz are 6th in the conference in rushing defense, and... they haven't played us. They are giving up 158.8 yards and 4 YPC. It just seems like the Cats shouldn't have a lot of trouble running the ball, and if the Cats are able to run for 250+ on 6 YPC (those are average at MSU) then I just don't see the Cats losing.
So therefore I'm nervous because I'm so confident.
Same. I wasn't very confident in 2011 because it just seemed like we were running out of gas towards the end of the season. It seems like we are so much more consistent this year and on a mission.
That said, confidence makes me nervous too!

Not sure what his real plan is yet.
It would be hilarious if Ah Yat starts.
Honestly, I think Bobby is just stubborn enough to do that, just to shut up all the haters, and remind everyone that he's the boss and he decides who plays and who doesn't.

That would be priceless to see AY trot out for the first series. The griz fans would lose their minds.

If that happens we should let him complete a few...

KAY injury looked like a high ankle sprain. I wouldn't expect him to be available for the rest of the season/postseason.

Remember when Bobby prepped all week for our hurt linebacker who didn't play quarterback that season and then was shocked after losing that we didn't play our hurt linebacker at quarterback? That was wild. Thank god we don't have to worry about that with our staff.

Think he'll get a medical redshirt? They like 7 year QB's over there.

Colter mentioned on one of his podcasts that Ah Yat was injured, but I didn't hear anything about the severity

The Griz coaching staff isn’t going to admit it because they want MSU thinking about both. I doubt it makes a difference in this case.

I'm hoping this year mirrors 2019. MSU goes down to UC Davis on the second to last game of the season and plays a really good UC Davis team and emerges with a win. You all know what happened during Cat/Gris that year

Confident: First, that we will be setting up our tailgate by 8 am preparing to supply fine food and beverages for the masses. Second, that I will be lighting up my Red Auerbach cigar like I do every year the Cats win (some youngsters may not know what the Red Auerbach cigar is).
Nervous: First, Since wifey and I are responsible for all the food and beverages this week, will we have enough fine vitals, favorite beverages, appropriate mixers, heaters, etc etc for supplying the masses? Second, that I may buy the winning 50/50 ticket!

Usually this game comes down who is the more physical team.
Got to make our field goals and extra points.
I trust our team more than I would trust the Griz side.
Cats should win… but it is Cat Griz so anything can happen.
I trust Tommy to take over the game if he needs to.

The biggest reason I feel so confident in this game is one they are better easily on offense defense side of the ball I’ll give them special teams just cause of Bergen, but two this years griz defense is not dominant as they usually are. I’d get nervous in this game cause of their defense would keep them in games but they don’t got those typical strong LBs or Gubner in the middle.

Confident: I was slightly nervous about UC Davis.
Nervous: not at all for this game.
Get the streak out of your heads people. Ancient history. We are really fvcking good now with no end in sight. They are just another average BSC team on our schedule.
