Cat/Gris Tailgates?
Thanks to all who responded and offered to help out with tickets. We are set and can't wait for the game. The reception I've got on this board is one of many reasons why I am thrilled my daughter chose MSU and confident she made the right choice.
Question if anyone has a suggestion on a tailgate(s) we can crash. Glad to chip in with booze or money. Coming in Friday - my daughter will have a couple dorm friends coming but other than that we know zero people and have no set plans.
Me and wife, MSU freshman daughter and my high school son.
I am not above wandering the parking lots with a 12-pack and a mysterious bottle in my pocket but I thought I'd inquire with you good folks.
Looking forward to watching the Cats smash UM-Mizoola.

Glad you found tickets! I promise I didn't forget you. Having tickets through the business is great but it becomes real difficult for big games like this knowing who needs what and how many. But I'm glad you got it sorted out. Enjoy the game!NewCat2028 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 10:57 amThanks to all who responded and offered to help out with tickets. You are welcome to swing by our tailgate. We are across KAGY from the stadium in 194-195. We have a good mix of college kids and college kids parents/alumni. Anyone and everyone always welcome at the BobcatNation tailgate. For those that don't come to all the games, a reminder that with the changes to the lots the BN tailgate has moved and has a whole new look. Find us at the far south end of the west stadium lot (spots 505-508). Near what will be the entrance to the new Indoor Practice Facility, just look for the big white tent with the BobcatNation trailer sticking out of the side of it. We'll have the heaters and firepits going, gameday and games playing on the TV and plenty of food and drink.

Re: Cat/Gris Tailgates?
I start out in the same lot as RockyBearCat but spot 215-216
Then to the FANBULANCE way out in the west tailgate lot.
Stop at 5-6 places then end up at QBClub tailgate. I will be helping setup Saturday and serving there.
Gives us a shout.

Are you going to insulate the bottom of your fire pits from the asphalt. If you melt will you have to pay??kmax wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 12:26 pmAnyone and everyone always welcome at the BobcatNation tailgate. We just have gas fire pits, but I’ve found a scrap of concrete board (tile underlayment) works very well for this with real fire.77matman wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 2:16 pmAre you going to insulate the bottom of your fire pits from the asphalt. Yes, as tdub said we just have a couple of propane firepits so no worry about heat below on the asphalt.tdub wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 2:20 pmWe just have gas fire pits, but I’ve found a scrap of concrete board (tile underlayment) works very well for this with real fire.77matman wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 2:16 pmAre you going to insulate the bottom of your fire pits from the asphalt. What time will we be able to set up? I’m hoping to be in the lots at 7:30

I thought I read 8:00? That said, for the Idaho game we were able to get in there and set up six hours before kickoff. Early enough and there will either be nobody there at the entry points, or they'll let you in to drop your stuff off.94VegasCat wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 4:00 pmWhat time will we be able to set up? This would be a great game to make sure everyone is back in their seats for the 2nd half kickoff.

Re: Cat/Gris Tailgates?
Is there any tailgate spots that have TVs with the game on? Some of us poor people that cant afford tickets would still love to enjoy the atmosphere but watch the game at the same time.

You'll see a bunch of fire outs. Just saddle on up to a fire and ask if you can warm up. Everyone is cool with it and will offer you beverage and food.

That still leaves wings, brats, chili, and so many other F.T.G. (Fun Tail Gate, thanks @CPACAT) favorites for you to enjoy. Maybe try some really spicy wings so your brain thinks beer is the only fix to the heat. I'll keep thinking today on more ways we can help get you through this struggleBelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 9:08 pmCall me an old man, but I just struggle to drink before noon.
