My degree is in business. You don't need near as much math for accounting than you do for engineering. The only thing that makes me question the brains needed for engineering is that Howard Wollowich was an engineer.

I considered engineering early and took the first year math and physics classes. Didn't take me long to realize I didn't want to work that hard for four years. Went the accounting route.
