The players are fantastic and executing at a high level, but I really can’t give enough credit to Walker and Daly. The play calling is at an all time high, and it’s nice to see the offense not get too cute at bad times.

Again, I’m not sure our 2025 QB is on this team, however, Chance has been really well in the time he gets in. He’s looking more and more comfortable, makes ‘rookie’ mistakes here and there but nothing that cannot be fixed.
It will simply come down to how well he can pass the ball. He’s getting solid physically and is very mobile. I’d be surprised if a transfer QB isn’t looked at closely, but hoping either Chance or Jordan can win the job over anyone in the spring.

I’d be pretty surprised if Chance wasn’t the QB and if they didn’t bring in a transfer.

I didn’t realize he was a track star in Oklahoma, school records in the 200 and 400 relay. That should serve him well. I like is QB style of play, seems more comfortable every game.

Here is a stat that will win games. So far only two penalties for a total of 10 yards.
How about our ball security this season as well? We haven't forced a ton of turnovers, and we had the two "scoop and scores" in the UNM game. We've had very few turnovers since then though, can't be more than 1 or 2 maybe? Tommy still hasn't thrown a pick, has he?

Was the Idaho TD a TD? The replay in the stadium looked like nobody even touched the ball
No it wasn’t, we were sitting low in section 123 so we had a perfect angle at it all. No, it wasn’t a catch from what I could see in real time. The replay on the screen wasn’t the best angle, so hard to tell from that.

Also I think Talon Marsh looked good and is going to carry on a long tradition of outstanding D line play.

I thought for sure live he was out and when I got home watched it on replay and, unless he magically got a foot down, he landed out of bounds. I hope that is one they review in a game that matters. Bummed it stole away the shutout as hard as our d worked from beginning to end.

Marsh, Sharbono, Crews, Solano, plus a bunch of current freshman that are redshirting…there’s a lot of good underclass DL talent.

Another observation I have made over our 7 games, and many here know, but the dude is a ‘dude’. Rohan Jones has been huge to our offense, blocks like a linemen, catches everything thrown his way, and does not go down easy, at all.

I like what I see but we will need to throw for more than 120 yards to win Natty.
May be true but it would be stupid to throw the ball more when we're up 24-0 at halftime.

Also, if McCullough doesn't drop the long one we have over 150 passing.

Talon Marsh is going to be good. Pretty sure about that. He’s incredibly strong and quick. His calves are literally about the same size as my thighs. I’m not sure I’ve seen an offensive lineman move him. He’s fun to focus on during a play.

Oregon vs Idaho: 37 carries for 107 yards and a TD.
MSU vs Idaho: 53-361 and three TDs.

I realize Oregon wasn’t “up” for that game but this is still amazing.

Another 15 or so on the Garrigan pass. Sure looked like he had control.

Oregon was missing like 2 or 3 starting offensive lineman. I think they got them back like week 3 and have been running much better since.

One of the ESPN announcers said Layne was out for the season. Anyone know if that is true? I thought they were getting him back soon.

That was the catch where he caught it in his legs, correct?

If so, 100% correct call.

Why was Danny’s interception brought back to where he caught it?

The dumba$$ field judge blew his whistle during the return. Inadvertent whistle after the turnover brings the ball back to the spot of the turnover.
