Quick synopsis because I'm about to leave out to support one of my players.....

NCU isn't very good but I'm glad that we came to play. We seemed focused and are taking a very business like approach. That's championship football. Beat people you are supposed to they way you are supposed to.

Offensively I like the fact that we are throwing the ball. These are the type of games that you build your confidence in throwing, so when we get to that tough game where we have to throw we the confidence and chemistry to execute. Our offense needs not get super conservative. Don't arrogant call our normal stuff and keep throwing the ball. Don't get to cute....just play good sound solid football.

Defensively we look good, not great. I'm impressed weekly by Daly's ability to call a game. He stays a step ahead, I love it. We still have fit issues, safeties fitting in the wrong hole, lbs over shooting the their hole, etc. We HAVE to clean that up and be more disciplined. They are running so hard to the ball that they are getting out of our gaps. It's going to be a problem later on if they don't address it and address it now. I only saw it once but our dbs eyes are bad, we stare in the backfield lose our man, but get bailed out because NCU just isn't that good yet. They have to be more disciplined with their eyes. Yes I'm nit picking but when you are in the hunt for a NC....details are what will separate us from the field.
