That video was also pretty solid proof there was targeting on the play, which is why Jones' helmet came off.

So basically they're saying Jones got a knee to the head?

No...it was helmet to helmet. #91 for ISU clearly launches himself at Jones with the crown of his helmet at Jones' head. No targeting call. Between that and the knee from Hays to Grebe's head, I think Vigen was pissed and that's why we punch it in as time runs out. Otherwise, we take a knee. Some pretty dirty play from the Bengals and Vigen taught 'em a lesson.

99% of the time, I would say take knee and end the game. Unless we are playing ISU, EWU or UM. F them….score and score and score some more.

That was my take also.

I approve of this action by Coach.

And that stupid time out, WTF dude??? What did they expect?

They knew there wouldn't be a pass and couldn't stop run. Went outside to get first down. The rest were up middle. Stop it if you don't want scored on. Not like there were throws to end zone.

I thought so too looking at that video. I just wondered what the Bad Beats guys were talking about. They referenced 3 knees, but they didn't show the video where Grebe got kneed, so was confused.
Totally agree with scoring at the end. Cheap shot the players and you'll get Vigen's wrath!

They were talking about taking a knee to run the clock in instead of running the ball.
