Here he is after the game, ice on his knee but walking on his own. I tell you what, Taki is one of the most pleasant surprises, so far, this season. Honestly, since Taki didn't play a lot of high school ball, I thought he'd be major project that would take years to mature into a good player. Bye weeks are inherently unfair and should be done away with...with one exception: Every team in the conference has the same bye week(s). If they are going to do it, they should just state that the second week in October and the first week of November will be bye weeks for everyone. But no, as it is, some teams get help and some others don't. It's not fair.

I'm with you guys here. Signed at 167# and listed at safety, I thought there was no way he saw the field until maybe a junior. This year he "bulked" up to 175, again thought there was a very slim chance he saw the field. Big mistake by me. He is a heat-seeking missile when he rallies to the ball. I didn’t know anything about Grebe getting banged up, but is there any word on Jon Johnson?
