First they think Junior Bergen would be worth 2 All American linemen and our second best pass rusher, just completely ignoring that we already have a pretty good punt returner in Taco and Ty McCullouch is no slouch either. We might be able to somewhat overcome the loss of Wehr and Perkins but our offense would drop a lot closer to griz level without them. The idea that those 2 plus Eiden is a fair trade for Bergen is just stupid. It's fair for the griz because Bergen is their entire offense but it would make no sense for us.
Then the idea that we would trade Grebe for a TE, or a package of them, when we've proven we can utilize the ones we have on the roster is also insulting. But they assume the griz would say no and we'd have to counter with something else when it's just assumed that the Bergen trade is fair. And we also wouldn't need one of their OL if we don't make the dumb Bergen trade. I also liked the idea that we trade Grebe for a younger guy that isn't as good and isn't a fit but has 2 years remaining instead of one.
"Not that the Cats need another running back..." Yeah, you could have just ended your thought there and moved on to another position. The number 2 rushing team in the country for the last 2 years, despite a ton of injuries, doesn't need anyone who ran the ball for the "prolific" griz offense.
I'm usually in Colter's corner when people criticize him but that was a crazy segment.
