Re: Parking
Quick drive by update: looks like east lot finished with paving, numbers going down on west lot slots, and some landscaping along Kagy for west lot.

Re: Parking
What are considered tailgate spots are 2 spots, rv’s are 4 spots and then there are also single stall parking spots.

Re: Parking
Are the lots finished? Im guessing MSU would like to use them on Friday when Trump is at the Fieldhouse.

Re: Parking
The paving looks to be done but they're still working on them as of this morning when I went by. The lighting isn't up yet for one thing, so I doubt they're usable yet especially for events that will end when it's dark out.

The posts were up but I didn't see any actual lights on them yet. Entirely possible I missed something.bobcatbob wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 2:11 pmWas there today. They were putting up light posts. Had many up already.

Re: Parking
Typically, the lights on the post will be wired up while it’s laying on the ground. Maybe they’re going to install festoon lighting over the parking lot. I don’t think it would be very functional, but it would really add to the intimate feel of night games!MSU01 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 2:14 pmThe posts were up but I didn't see any actual lights on them yet. Re: Parking
Is MSU charging for people to park for this event? I think MSU has been paid up front, but I don't know that for sure and I don't know if the payment included parking passes for the attendees.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Re: Parking
Well Trump will need them so he can overinflate how many people are actually there. Because if the parking lot isn't finished he can only overinflate so much.....

Re: Parking
I guess we'll find out soon enough! I'll let someone else do the spotting this time as I wouldn't get within a mile or two of one of these political rallies held by either side.Cats92 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 5:30 pmTypically, the lights on the post will be wired up while it’s laying on the ground. The lamps are definitely not attached to the top of the poles at this time.MSU01 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 7:15 amI guess we'll find out soon enough! Re: Parking
I understand this frustration. But, to me, we've gotten to park for free for soooo long. Bobcat football games were actually the only event (sporting, concert, etc) that I didnt have to pay parking for. So, yes, frustrating but long overdue. The one positive, I am guaranteed a parking spot no matter what time I show up.

Re: Parking
Does anyone know if the standard tailgate spots come with two parking passes? There are two stalls per spot and I have heard conflicting info with some saying two cars can be parked there and others saying it is two stalls but will only allow one vehicle.

Re: Parking
I hope it's only one vehicle, otherwise it isn't a "tailgate" spot. It's just reserved parking and that defeats the whole purpose.

Re: Parking
My understanding is though that you can park two vehicles or an RV in the RV spots, and only one vehicle in the standard tailgate spots.

No kidding!! Imagine if Kamala came! She would need to use her second hand to count up to 10 for her attendance!
