Yep, and that now makes 5 Bobcats on the list. In addition to Ortt and Danny U, we have Justus Perkins, Marcus Wehr, and Rohan Jones. Could end up with another 4 or 5 players on this list by the time the season starts too!

When will we get a stadium expansion? From what I’ve heard the sunny side will get an upgrade/maybe box seats above. We sell out every game very fast, shouldn’t that be an obvious sign that the university could add 5-10k seats and still fill the place? All the recent projects have been excellent but dang to have 25-30k cat fans would sure make Saturdays incredible.

It was in the plan to eventually bowl the North end zone, but there are a lot of projects ahead of it, pretty sure East side grandstands is the next stadium renovation and making it nicer will probably cause a net loss in seats unless they go higher up.

I know there is high demand for box seats, I would love to see box seats above east side. With the recent upgrades in the north end zone is it possible to bowl it? Seems like they would have to do corner/horizontal seats.

Something that I look at going into each season is the strength of conference schedule. For a couple of years I have used the pre season media poll to assign values to conference opponents. I then take each team's conference schedule, adding the pre season rankings to get a final sum.

2024 Preseason Media Poll for Big Sky: 1 UM, 2 MSU, 3 IU, 4 UCD, 5 SAC, 6 EWU, 7 WEB, 8 ISU, 9 NAU, 10 PSU, 11 CP, 12 UNC

For example: MSU plays ISU, NCU, IU, PSU, EWU, SAC, UCD, UM. 8+12+3+10+6+5+4+1=49

The higher the score the easier the conference slate. The lower the score the harder the conference slate.

Here are the totals for the strength of schedule:

Um 60, 59 WEB, 57 IU, 57 SAC, 53 NAU, 53 ISU, 50 UCD, 50 UNC, 49 MSU, 49 CP, 44 EWU, 42 PSU.

By my algorithm, the Griz have the easiest conference schedule and the Portland State has the toughest. Note, I did not factor home or away.

I was going to say you really need to factor in home/away for this to have more value. Maybe a +/- 2 points.

I always though it'd be cool to do box seats in the silhouette of the Bridgers with caves (Bobcat Dens) looking over the field.

This shows how much more Sam knows about the FCS than most who vote. A lot of the voting puts teams in similar spots to where they finished last year. Sam has UC Davis 12th even though they finished last year 24th. I'd bet they aren't higher than 20th in the pre seasonn poll. They return nearly their entire offense and 7 of their top 11 tacklers. They're going to surprise people I think.

How in the hell is North Dakota not on that list?? They had a couple bad games last year but were mostly a damn good team. Crushed NDSU, made the playoffs, lost that squeaker to Sac State. I have no idea what they lost but can only assume the roster must have been decimated or something to not even make the top 25.
