For anyone interested in buying tickets for the upcoming season, single game tickets will be released for sale on August 5th at 10am! They will be available both online, at montanastatetickets.com, or by calling the Bobcat Ticket Office at 406-994-2287.

So for single-game tix, is it better to call or go on the web? If I call at 9:55am are they gonna tell me to call back later or would I be in some kind of line?

These might be better questions for the Ticket Office themselves but sometimes you get more nuanced answers here on the message boards.

I've never had trouble buying single game tickets on the website. I think that's a better bet than calling and potentially ending up on hold for an hour while online sales are still happening.

Oh thanks 😊😊 I’ll give that a go. Is it any different for Cat-Griz tix?

Season tickets holders are able to sell their tickets via Seat Geek. So, you can always go on there to purchase tickets as well. It’s very easy to do.

Do both. Have a friend, spouse or yourself call while you work the computer. No different for Cat-gris.

Not sure, I've never even tried to directly buy extra Cat/Griz tickets as I figured it would be impossible for me as a lowly end zone season ticket holder to get in there ahead of all the high-priority boosters!

Would highly doubt that tix for Cat-Griz will be the same. Two years ago the single game tix for that game were handled via priority points sales. Would expect it to be the same for this year.

I got 2 Cat-griz SRO tickets in 2022 as an end zone season ticket holder so there's hope! Had to call right away though.

I thought he was asking after the season ticket holders got first shot.

And why do they not open up single game ticket sales until 3 weeks before the season kicks off? I wish I could go on and buy single game tickets here pretty soon but no dice.

Isn't this the norm? just the last two years we have sold out season tickets so early makes the single game sales date look far away and too close to season opener. and it used to be easy to get tickets up until game day. not so much any more.

How many season tickets are there? I was reading how many season tickets each Mountain West team has and surprised to think we might rank towards the top.

I want to say I remember it being in the 11-12k-ish range but I could be misremembering that for sure. That seems like it would make sense approximately given stadium capacity, student tickets, etc.

Did anyone here that wanted season tickets not get them this year? I was able to score a couple of extras.

You can try for Cat -griz tickets but there is a priority system that allows bigger donors first access so they get sold quicker than other games

We got three more as well, although they aren't together and now our group has to sit in three different sections, but I was surprised we were able to get them.

I was surprised too. My two new seats aren’t in my current season ticket section either, but there seems to be open spaces near us at almost every game, so friends can move in if they want to. Last Cat-gris in Bozeman, there were so many people cramming into our row that I was nearly pushed out into the stairs.

Like I wrote before, buy two that are not together and then after the game starts, try and locate two empty seats that are together or cram in with your friends/relatives. Obviously, that may be harder to do on some games, like Cat-gris, Gold rush, etc., but it works for most of them. The next year, try trading the seats for two that are together.

BTW, I like your BN name.
