Mason Falslev, freshman starter this year, into the portal for Utah State. We will see if he follows Danny to Washington
This guy was the great QB in high school, he’s a slasher, cutter, fast-breaker. 3 more years at Washington he’ll fit right in!
Now does Great O ends up at Washington?

USU is reportedly hiring Tod Kowalczyk of Toledo. Tod being of course the perfect first name for a coach in Utah.

Rollie Worster from Utah (played for Hellgate, of course) just entered the transfer portal. He was originally committed to the griz, then wanted to play in some football camps the summer before his senior year. Decuire didn't want him playing and Rollie was mad. That next week, he was in a camp at MSU and Sprinkle met with him. He almost got him to come to MSU, but he ended up at Utah State for a year, then transferred to Utah. I think he likes Danny and it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see him play his last season at UW.

That would be cool. Hope it happens. Or he randomly goes to The bobcats…. Either one would be fun.

No brainer decision for Danny. Great guy, great coach I hope he turns UW basketball around
As an aside, remember when Peter fields passed over Sprinkle for Brad Huse?
It was Brian Fish not Huse who Danny was passed up for back in 2014.
Huse was hired in 2006 and Danny joined Huse’s staff for his first 2 years. (06-08)
But we agree …Fields was a clown

Oh interesting, I remember sprinkle was on staff with Huse (along with Dirden or Orten) and then went back to Cali after a year or so. Somehow I remember him being the runner up to Huse and then didn't apply again when Fish was hire. That was a long time ago, and I trust your memory more than I trust my own.

Very cool! One year ago, he was still the head coach at MSU. What a difference a year makes.

Wikipedia says Chris Haslam is currently an assistant coach at Oregon State. I have not seen any confirmation of this elsewhere.

Interesting. If it is true, good for Coach Haslem. I am surprised that he did not join Danny at Washington, but maybe Danny needs to upgrade his assistants to compete in the Big 10. Maybe Great Osobor will now sign with Oregon State?

He may yet go to Udub but he's being courted by Kentucky.

Kentucky lost 100% of its roster to portal or NBA draft.

Assuming Coach Logie was interested, I wish the Bobcats had the money to bring Coach Haslem back. I miss having some international players on the roster, even though they did not all work out.

I think the ship has sailed at this point on Haslam at MSU, he had a great run here but i doubt MSU can even come close to affording him after what that coaching staff did at Utah State. I'm not sure if the international player pool is quite the "market inefficiency" that it was a few years ago, so I quite like the renewed focus on the Pacific Northwest that we're seeing under Coach Logie and his staff.

Oregon State now lists Chris Haslam as an assistant coach. CONGRATULATIONS Coach!
Tallest coaching staff in Division 1 Basketball? They've got to be close at least with Tinkle and Haslam.
