Meanwhile on Egriz
Oh boy. Made the mistake of snooping around over there, here is the first post I saw. The delusion is strong over there. Absolutely no disrespect to this kid, I wish him nothing but the best, but should someone tell them the reason he transferred from MSU to UM is because he wasn't going to see the field at MSU?
Also... I cannot wait for November 23rd... time to shut them up again.
Cutler is a coach’s kid. Multiple state championships. Always wanted to be a Griz and go to the closer, better school but bubs recruited harder/first.
Hopefully he will haunt MSdui as much as Junior. Funny how it seems like a one-way portal between the schools.
This is another huge indictment on MSdUi and how much better The Griz program is. The two schools are trending in opposite directions. One is on a meteoric rise and the other is circling the drain. One university has videos to intro new players while the other college has a mass exodus to the portal including to its big bro

eGriz used to be a great board back in the day, now it's a flaming mountain of ****** that has been piled on top of an even bigger flaming mountain of ******. Dominated by about four or five pathetic lowlifes, one of whom is PlayerRep and his dozens of alt accounts and then the others who are far more concerned about posting negative things about MSU than discussing their own school. Thank goodness this site has avoided that kind of stuff so far.

Although I don’t buy catatac’s purported reason for Mr. Cutler’s transfer, I do agree that this post/thread on eGriz is worthless and not productive. MSU has a very strong program. Very strong. There’s crazy stuff posted on every university’s athletic forum.

Well maybe you know something I don't know but as far as I remember - he transferred to UM because he was 3rd string at MSU and thought he might be able to see the field at UM? What am I missing?Griznationalist wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 6:58 pmAlthough I don’t buy catatac’s purported reason for Mr. Cutler’s transfer, I do agree that this post/thread on eGriz is worthless and not productive. Since UM didn't want him in first place maybe the failing Cats program just developed him enough that now he can be a contributor on that dominant Griz program he grew up idolizing.

Yep! And again, zero disrespect to the kid and I really do hope he finds what he's looking for... but if we look at this as a straight up trade for Zac Crews, I'll take it.tetoncat wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 12:45 pmcatatac wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 11:23 amWell maybe you know something I don't know but as far as I remember - he transferred to UM because he was 3rd string at MSU and thought he might be able to see the field at UM? How much longer before they get their practice bubble completed? Seems like it’d take about 2-3 weeks. Those things are hideous. How embarrassing it must be to go along with the shriveling enrollment and dilapidated buildings. The football stadium is in desperate need of upgrades to the restrooms and concessions. The place holds a lot of fans but that’s it. General disrepair campus wide. I wonder if they will be able to keep the place open.

It's going to be funny because I'm sure all season long they'll be bragging about their practice bubble being done or almost done. Then they'll show up in Bozeman in November and see an actual building, or at least the frame for one. I was at the BSC track meet back in May and was talking to a gris fan friend of mine. I pointed out where the practice facility would be and that the hammer/discus sector would move. His wife said to him, loud enough for me to hear, "they're getting a practice bubble too?". He dejectedly said "yeah, but ours will be done sooner". I told them it would be an actual building with hard sides and they were so visibly sad that it just warmed my heart.iaafan wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2024 2:25 pmHow much longer before they get their practice bubble completed? Serious question as I was talking to a good bobcat friend……he said the Cats indoor facility will only be 80 yards and that it’s not that much different from the bubble at UM in that it will be some type of tent or fabric material. Is that not true?

It’s not a bubble or fabric construction. The bid docs call for a hard-sided building. Have you seen the renderings? (A fabric building or bubble for $26 million? Common sense says that can’t be true, especially when the gris bubble cost what, $9 million?)HookedOnGriz wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 9:00 pmkennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Mon Jun 24, 2024 9:19 amIt's going to be funny because I'm sure all season long they'll be bragging about their practice bubble being done or almost done. The field is 100 yards in order to accommodate a 300-meter indoor track.

The field is 100 yards in order to accommodate a 300-meter indoor track.
The primary structure will be a pre-engineered, metal framed, tensioned fabric exterior building, which houses a 100 yard (two 10 YD endzones with 80 YD striped field between) artificial turf football field.

Thanks for the update. Looks like 80 yards is all, but a full track and no more fabric. Both facilities for cats and Griz will be tremendous upgrades for cold weather. I know um guys don’t excel in math, but the field is 100 yards. A standard field is 120 yards. Check out the UND and SDSU indoor facilities (and many others)—100 yards is what you do if you want a 300-meter indoor track.HookedOnGriz wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 10:21 pmThanks for the update. Seriously makes you question the education UM graduates received. To assume that a $9 million facility will be just as impressive as a $26 million facility is crazy talk. Of course the poster is Hooked who spells Gris with an S because that is how they do it in Europe.ECBobcat wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 9:34 pmIt’s not a bubble or fabric construction. Re: Meanwhile on Egriz
That was the first plan a couple years ago. I think track kicked in a few million bucks and MSU raised the rest to get a more permanent and bigger structure. I don't think they're making this up, I just think they have an old press release.HookedOnGriz wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 9:41 pmSomeone posted this on egriz and said it is directly from a Cats press release on it. Serious question as I was talking to a good bobcat friend……he said the Cats indoor facility will only be 80 yards and that it’s not that much different from the bubble at UM in that it will be some type of tent or fabric material. Is that not true?
The field is 100 yards in order to accommodate a 300-meter indoor track.
The primary structure will be a pre-engineered, metal framed, tensioned fabric exterior building, which houses a 100 yard (two 10 YD endzones with 80 YD striped field between) artificial turf football field.

Re: Meanwhile on Egriz
Gris fans on egris trying to find anything that will downplay MSU's investment...Cataholic wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2024 10:12 amSeriously makes you question the education UM graduates received. Seems like it’d take about 2-3 weeks. Those things are hideous. How embarrassing it must be to go along with the shriveling enrollment and dilapidated buildings.
