DId anyone notice that the announcers made the decision to name the EWU guard the "player of the game?" They did that with 2 minutes to go. She had 13 points at the time and I believe Dykstra had 19, and she ended up with 21. Hilarious.
I missed that. A hollow victory.

I've never paid close attention and don't know if every teams announcers pick a player of the game. In hockey, the home town announcers choose the 3 stars of the game and the #1 star is a home team player as a matter of convention. I wouldn't get too worked up.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen a local TV broadcast pick a member of the visiting team for a "player of the game". Marah can be the official Bobcat Nation player of the game though!

Looks like more than the Bobcat Nation agrees!
First time Big Sky Player of the Week for Dykstra.
Third time a MSU WBB player has been named Player of the week this season so far.
