What are you excited to see in 2024?

Post by nanacat » Tue Jan 02, 2024 9:31 am

We had a thread about 2023, we've totally exhausted the $3k donation to the gris band, and we know this week will be flooded with more stories online about the gris and the NC game, but let's pull the focus back to BOBCAT FOOTBALL! 💙💛

I'm excited about the changes to the defensive staff and what they can do with the great players we have on that side of the ball! I think Grebe stands to be more of a beast than this year, with Ortt having a tremendous year as well. On offense I am expecting Tommy to "be the man" but am excited to see who the #2 guy is, and what role he'll play. Lots to be excited about looking ahead! GO BOBCATS!

As always, I'm excited for another Gold Rush. Back to football, back to tailgating, back to rodeo run outs, back to fall.

In 2024 I'm also excited to go down to NM to watch another road game against an FBS opponent. We've got a great shot at winning this one. Also interested to see how Tommy grows with another offseason and how his game changes without Chambers on the team. Looking forward to seeing Reed get some non-garbage time to show what he can really do. Hoping we can stay healthy and RTDB with RBs more than QBs. Also excited to see who the next breakout players are on both sides of the ball.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

I'm also excited about a few road trips. Either New Mexico or St George, and then either Cheney or Davis.

Is there a direct flight to Albuquerque from Bozeman? Be nice to go there, then over to Vegas and on to St. George.

No direct but I like the thought process. Maybe a multi city round trip. Bozeman, Albuquerque, Vegas, Bozeman with a road trip to St George from Vegas? I'll have to give that some thought.

Tommy and that explosive offense accompanied by a fast, hard hitting, turnover creating, ball hawking, run stuffing, aggressive defense!!!
No serious season ending type injuries!
Made field goals!
Cheap flights to Frisco!

Go Cats!

Fewer "Cat fans" talking incessantly about the griz.

That would be great.

I’m excited to see trolls stop worrying, whining, and complaining so much about how other fans express their fandom.

That would be frigin awesome.

Tommy for a full season (fingers crossed). Julius Davis and Scottre Humphrey piling up yards. Zac Crews becoming an elite edge rusher. Somebody - anybody - kicking FG's consistently.

The offense we saw in the NDSU game. Establish the run early and then stretch the field passing.

Hopefully the speakers actually work and don’t sound like blown out Pioneer Hi-Fi speakers from 1987 anymore.

What are the dimensions on that thing again? 100x40? Whose does it compare to? Boise State?

I want more than one. Specifically, a bye week and four more after the season ends. 8)

2024 Cat/gris. It’s the only remedy to put the world back on its axis. Already tired of hearing the griz fans talk like they own the state and are back. Fukcing tired of it.

If your left, you aren’t right.
