He already has four FBS offers, two in Texas.
Tons of offers now including Arizona State, Texas Tech, UCF, BYU, UMass, Boston College. All these schools I'm sure have deep NIL coffers.

Are there 84 scholarship players. And then some non scholarship that still get NIL. At 84 that is under 100,000 per kid if all got same. Would expect stars and starters get more?
Looks like just the team collective. Individual and other position group deals are probably even more.

Now Texas Tech. He is set for some cash.
Last I saw, the Texas Tech NIL collective had an annual budget of $8million.
So he is going to get $8 million!!!

And new offers now from Memphis, and Arkansas which is SEC and I'm sure has huge NIL money.

If 8M is their annual budget he would likely get a portion of that but obviously not the entire thing.

MSU loses players to the Big 12, Big 10, and ACC this off-season. Maybe someday I'll get used to the idea of Washington being in the Big 10 and Cal in the ACC. Hopefully the coaches can use this as a recruiting tool to get some players to look at MSU who might not have previously.

Yeah! "Hey, look, if you want to move on to a bigger program after a couple of years, this is the place to be." :?

Would we rather have great players like Omar and Rush who stay for 2 or 3 years, or mediocre ones who stay for 4 or 5? I'll take the former option especially when most of the great players are sticking it out for their whole careers.

That's what I've been saying MSU should be pitching to OL in particular. Adapt or die.

I hope all you guys have joined the QB club and help finance all the recruiting that's going to be needed.

I want them to stay the whole four year playing career but I'll take what I can get. Not sure I'd sell it as the place to leave after a couple of years. I'd be surprised if that is in the selling brochure but you never know these days.

That's a good point I never thought about. If we have to recruit 40 new players every year, that's gonna cost a lot more.

I hate pretty much everything about NIL and the transfer portal, but given that it isn't going away, it is true that the fact that our guys are transferring to Power 5 schools certainly helps us.

Any recruit who does a bit of homework can see that if they do well here, they will have opportunities to move up if their hearts are set on it. And I would definitely rather have 3 years of Seabass or Reimer (especially if they leave with their degrees) than four years of a mediocre player.

Vigen shot that downing his presser. Said they do promote you can get to NFL but doesn't think promoting being a stepping stone is good to do.

We need some local businesses to start putting up some REAL MONEY!!!! Do we want to start losing all of our best players to bullcrap NIL deals?!?!?

I think the Grizzzz has their own thing like this. They are trying to buy out the Cats! Probably offered Tommy half a million to play for them
