That's not a surprise. Got passed up by younger guys this year.

Not an addition but Teddye Buchanan signed with Cal. Played for UC Davis and rated #2 LB in portal. Davis is toughest FCS road opponent for Bobcats next year.

I'm a little confounded with the lack of activity after the flurry on Monday(and all at one position). I would be shocked if there weren't any more leaving but glad to be proven wrong! <knock knock knock>

Choate is apt to land quite a few. I don’t recall if anyone followed him to Texas but Nevada is much more likely.

Just about every player on the 2021 roster that’s still on it now was a Choate recruit.

The only player that followed Choate to Texas was a gris….Gabe Sulser. Okay, he left in 2022 though.

Everyone should brace themselves for Valdez hitting the portal.

Not shocking. One 'plus' is that I think Paul Brott / Zach Black can step in nicely.

I hope not. Have you heard that he's intending to hit the portal?

Was his impact down due to constant double teams.

I know nothing, but I’d be surprised if he stayed.

I’ve felt the same way. I have no inside info here, but before this started, if I was to put money on two people leaving it would have been Reimer and Valdez.

I’m expecting it and will be pleasantly surprised and happy if it doesn’t happen.

Heard rumors that he has had some very large offers on the table for several weeks now.

I barely pay attention to the NFL anymore. Do they have a salary cap? It would seem that college football team has unlimited free agency. Any school with strong financial Resouces can outspend any program in the country for any recruit.

The money can’t come from the school, has to come from boosters. Even they have a point where they stop paying, but yeah, money talks.

Thanks Captain Obvious. I was referring to the boosters and NIL backing when talking about unlimited resources for recruiting.

Okay, but at a certain point, they’re going to stop spending money. It’s obviously not this year, but I’d guess in a couple years it tones down. At a certain point they’re going to get tired of spending money that isn’t resulting in wins, or championships.
