New Mexico fires coach Danny Gonzales

Another Mountain West coach gets the axe. UNM is 4-8 this year and coach Gonzales had an overall record of 11-32 over four years. We open at UNM next year. Hopefully with Coach Vigen at the helm.

Tough place to coach. They have occasionally had a winning record, very occasionally. Huge challenge for a new coach.

I'm guessing Cats will be favored, and we will probably beat them easily.
