It would disprove what the prior poster insinuated. What was that poster "attempting to accomplish"?

Seems to me that most of your posts are kinda like reading someone who likes to listen to themselves talk.
Just my opinion. You are an attorney, right.

I am a traveller and big sports fan, not a lawyer. I went to the Fiesta Bowl and National Championship game in LA earlier this year. Let me know if you want to see my other trips and sporting events.

It would be appreciated if the mods would quit moving threads from the main board to this forum. You are mucking up "my" forum. Thanks. And ha.

Thanks for the unselfish offer to share more of yourself, but I’ve got some wet paint to watch dry.

Mods, please continue to move all G7 threads immediately to CA. It's similar to how you quarantine a disease.

So you aren’t an attorney. You just have a law practice?! HmmmGrizfan7 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 2:50 pmPart of my law practice was Intellectual Property. I know this area of the law. The whole article is copyrighted. Not every sentence separately. It's perfectly okay to quote articles, including Journal articles.Bobcat4Ever wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 2:21 pmNo, this is copyrighted + premium content (pay). Did you read the policy? Especially this part? Did you request a quote? Just don’t go getting this place in trouble.Grizfan7 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2023 1:50 pmAs you probably know, this is not a reprint. "Do I need permission to quote from a newspaper article?
Yes, you can usually quote a newspaper article (or a website, or a book) on your blog. Quoting excerpts of protected works is typically considered a “fair use” of the work, and doesn't require getting permission."
"What is considered fair use?
Under the fair use doctrine of the U.S. copyright statute, it is permissible to use limited portions of a work including quotes, for purposes such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, and scholarly reports."

There are articles quoted and linked on BB everyday. Perfectly normal
