Looks like its on the Board of Regents Agenda to approve the project for construction at their meeting next week.

https://mus.edu/board/meetings/2023/nov ... index.html
Goddamit they're also going to approve turning Grant into a pedestrian only street
Might as well, when was the last time it was open?
I live right by here and I've been dealing with the shut down, for about three to four year. Easy for you to say, when your F'n sorry ass lives in Helena.

Am I missing some context or past history here, because this reply seems way out of line?
Have you not seen phat cat post before? Thats how he rolls.
But you're right, there is no reason for him to be snotty like that.
Not one of you live in Bozeman. MSU shutting down streets because "Grown-Ups" can't look both ways to cross the street, is BS. MSU thinks they own the town. They don't.
I’ve been doing this with my 3yr old a lot lately…

Take a deep breathe.
Now count… 1….2…3…4…
Ok, is that a little better?

A couple of blocks that go through an ever expanding campus being closed is not the end of the world.
Ideal for some that live around it? No. Something that makes sense in the whole scheme of things and something that can be worked around? Yes.
Pretty standard on most college campuses with 15k+ students & growing.

Just wait until Bozeman spends $10m+ to expand Kagy solely for the convenience of Cat football fans & MSU staff/students.
11th might one day be pedestrian traffic only from Grant to College.

Kinda surprised it hasn't happened already, at least from Grant to Cleveland (which was reduced to a driveway to the Biochemistry building).

The indoor practice facility is beautiful. An absolute advantage in recruiting. Love the concept. Anyone know if there is seating inside or if it is connected to the BAC?

No real seating and it’s connected to the BAC by a big parking lot and what looks to be a future concrete or paver walkway.

Grant to Cleveland would actually make more sense. Not much foot traffic past there. Driving down 11th in between classes is a nightmare.

So much good info on the indoor practice facility.

I think we’ve hit every piece of info out there, might as well talk about campus foot traffic. 🤣

Would now be a good time to bring up the idea of a pedestrian bridge over Kagy again?

You gonna pay for it? It's a lot easier/cheaper to just close the street.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Even for non-gamedays having a bridge over Kagy near the stadium would alleviate a lot of stop and go traffic that happens during the school day by students/faculty who park in the stadium lot and use the crosswalk signal by the BAC, and less-so the one by UPD

Kagy is a major “bypass” road that leads almost directly to the hospital. I’d be very surprised if they ever decided to just close it all together.

Bozeman has plans to install two pedestrian tunnels under Kagy. It will not be closed.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

You should have kept that quiet for a little longer. Fun to see PhatCat lose his cool and bitch and moan and show his true colors.

Looks great!

My only disappointment is it doesn't include handrails for the eastside grandstands.
MSUs old West grandstands, which is basically a mirror of the East grandstands, is now at Carroll and they managed to add nice handrails to the structure. I get not spending money on something you are planning to replace, but if it is going to be quite a few more years before we see them replaced, then make the improvement. I’ll donate.

Drive Kagy everyday. This is a well known project. When were you on the Booster Board, cataholic? I was on it for two years. Top fund raiser both years. Did your company do the ground work for free, for Reno H. Sales Stadium? Tell me just what you've done to gain your colors? Tell me cataholic. PLEASE TELL ME!

I am part of the Presidents Circle. I do my part. There also thousands of everyday fans that do their part by just going to the games. The thing with you though is that you have this arrogant entitled attitude and feel like everyone owes you something. You cry that MSU doesn’t own this town, yet you also claim to be this great supporter.

A lot of large universities across the US have streets that operate right through the middle of campus. They will make it work. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if MSU also had the property before KAGY was even built and the university provided an easement for the road that could legally be removed. But you go ahead and blow your entitled fuse. Maybe you should change your name to Bigheaded instead is Phatcat.
